it was terrifying when it happened but once she made it into camp it was not so bad, she got better pretty fast in camp. The re injury was another story that was really bad but hooray for good doctors she is mending well now thanks

Some excellent scenery there for sure. And wildlife for you to see too. Hey, a couple nights in the woods near a creek is better than most other things. Way to make the best of the situation, and hats off to Roxanna for hiking out of there. So sorry about her injury, but glad for the update that surgery is upcoming. I am always very worried about twisting my ankle while hiking. You just never know. Here's to future adventures!! Thanks, take care.

thanks we are happy she is finally getting better for real now after months of wondering what was really going on/ it really was a good trip overall and the permit was easy to get, some trails in Yosemite are much tougher to get permits for so we know we can go back easily and try again... im fortunate to be relatively sure footed and slow moving so i avoid problems but yeah it is always a concern/ my knees go out on me sometimes and i am slowed to a crawl.

Am glad you guys made it out safely,there’s always next time. I had a similar situation at the San Gorgonio mountain,injured knee is no joke I use knee compression sleeves on every hike now and it helps out I highly recommended. Either way what an amazing adventure thank you for sharing this.

yeah we use cheap sleeves but will definitely be upgrading before any more hikes thanks for your concern!

Amazing trip. Perfect example of using logic and common sense to overcome problems in the wilderness. I hope Roxana is back 100% soon if not already. The lakes will be there waiting for you. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

glad you like it! Roxana is at about 99% we are hiking up steep hills weekly And we got a permit to go back and try this hike again in August, we have a very positive outlook

Roxana is a trooper! Injuries can happen when a person hikes a lot.

I’m glad she ended up being ok. That’s always tough getting hurt in the woods. My goodness what beautiful scenery around the lake. I like your campsite around the creek. Cool video and area 👍🏻👍🏻

thanks yeah Yosemite is Unreal beautiful all over, so many of those awesome lakes and creeks! Roxana is a real trooper she is doing pretty well and should be walking again soon thanks

yeah the burnt forest is always a little depressing/ there are also areas that are now green but with all low brush where it used to be forest... but glad you enjoy the hike/ we just put u pa new video we return to the area and have a much better time at the lakes / some how i did not see this comment until now thanks

@@potatothorn Awesome. I was supposed to head south of the border end of next month, but some turkey decided to take out my windshield. Video on this channel. And that cost me the majority of the funds I had put away for the trip. So, looks like mid May now. Edit: Something weird going on on my other channel.
