Ive got the original TGT wheel had it for 6 years, still working ( except for the original wheel rim). The T598 will be available here in Australia 1st quarter of 2025. So i will see next year if i will purchase the T598

I like the sports car rim i have psvr2 and I have sf1000 (with QR) and for me is better feeling on sport car rim and iam using gloves, T598 is beast with tlcm pedals 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 my first wheel was tgt2

I appreciate your in depth explanations, I too have many devices in Thrustmaster Eco System. TGT2, T300, EVO Leather Wheel, EVO 599XX Wheel, TM Open Wheel with Bluetooth LED Display, TLCM Pedals, Sifters, etc. I think when the T598 Servo Base is sold by itself (Which is supposed to happen early 2025) I will buy the T598 Base

Just give them the time for a few more updates. The Inertia setting from the last firmware update definitely changed the ffb in GT7 in the right direction, give it a try! I know it should adress the oscillating wheel in menus etc. but you definitely feel more of the road and more weight. My settings... Ingame Vibration 75 Steering Sensitivity 6 Torque 3 Feedback Sensitivity 1. Wheel Base FFB 3 Master 100 Mode E Inertia Mid Friction off BLow+2 BHigh+1 Speed Ext Damper 0% Spring - don't change it! The game submits the right setting (in my case between 0 and 15%) Gear Jolt Mid End Stop Mid.

T598 is better than any belt driven wheel unless you been paying on a belt driven wheel for a long time then you just have to get used to it

Cool story, but I am not spending 500 bucks to feel kinda better than my $600 belt drive wheel in some ways. My T-GT II feels fantastic, if the difference isn't night and day I'm not spending the money.

Bro i just got tgt2 and its so damn good man.. i told my buddy how good it was and he was curios because he has a 12k rig and its crazy but no joke when he came over he was blown away how good it was for belt drive. He said , “honestly i feel like i would have been happy with what you got for 1k instead of spending 12”

Question, I have NLR 2.0 Wheel Stand like you. Did the T598 mount ok with the existing holes? I thought I read that it has weird mounting hole positioning? Thanks!

@kenhersh8398 yeah but you have to use the included stand on it. Or drill holes if you want it flat. Thankfully you can lower the stand hight to lower the wheel

I feel like you’re dancing around words that you wanna use to keep it light and friendly to get a free product. The steering wheel is freaking garbage. I bought this set up two days ago. I’m really happy with it but honestly, it feels like crap and my G 29 had a better wheel.

Not gonna happen t598 gets pretty warm with current power supply. Dd pro 8nm is a different animal you will notice how much stronger its ffb is when driving gr1 and gr2 race cars in gt7 compared to t598.

You do notice you say t598 5nm is enough and next you say "it doesnt have force like in t-gt.." and it doesnt have the t-dfb transducer that even you still keep bringing up when speaking of GT7. Also - you do know your brain also feels best the one you have used most lately? AND you keep rambling back and forth between pc and consoles and different games, trying to give everything for everyone. It seems you are convinced by the hyper car rim and Rennsport - not that much by the actual t598. The thing is, that the main point in T598 is the Playstation compatibility. Pc has many more good options for a wheel. And if one buys T598 it is very likely to be for Playstation. AND if one plays mainly on playstation, it is VERY likely one is playing GT7. In that light saying T598 is absolutely better than T-gt even if t598 is only so-so in GT7 doesnt make sense. The question is do you want to change from t-gt to t598 if you are a gt7 player - propably not at this point.

It's not that easy, it depends heavily on the car. I use Steering Sensitivity 6, FFB Sensitivity 1 and Torque between 2 and 4. Wheel Base... 3 / 100% / P or E / Low / Low / +2 / +2 / Mid / 0% / 0% / Mid / High

The T300 rs vs T598 is the real question... These 2 or most similar in price and package( pedals wheel and base). Close in NMs but 1 is belt...1 is D.A.D.. ask thrustmaster for 1 of those...and while ya at it... U should ask next level for a HF8!! Question... Maybe i missed it? No psvr2??

I have the t300 and the t598, the t598 is the better wheel without question.
