Anyone who considers the natural world for any amount of time, sees that it is cycles all the way down, which is why it makes it so confusing to find people talking about "the right side of history". As if history, should, for some reason, not be subject to the same rules as everything else in the world. All we can do is to try and figure out how to navigate the churn left in the wake of these cycles, as they crash over one another in the impending meta crisis. It would be good to avoid bloodshed and conflagration, but the old order will not give up the power they have gifted themselves without a fight. It even appears in their media, with phrases like "it is not about good and evil, it is about power and those that get to wield it". They tell on themselves relentlessly.

This doesnt make any sense to me. You find people with every similar birth charts having many similarities regardless if they were born in the northern or southern hemisphere. Nasa had an article a while back about people on the iss having the dna changed by the suns radiation. In my view, the sun moon and other bodies lenses the light of the stars, which affect us. I have found western astrology is around 24 degrees off from the actual sky but still works for some reason. It did match the sky around 1700 years ago tho.

the astrological wheel is arranged such that when a person goes through a transformation, it would naturally be to one of the nearby signs. which could explain the ages - that it takes a civilization around 2000 years to exalt a zodiac sign before needing to transform to the next nearby sign. this is more in line with carl jung's theory that the cycles already exist or have always existed, and it's rather our interest in the sky which have slowly synchronized our natural and cultural cycles to the movements of the planets.

The argument that astrology and star signs might have a grain of truth because of the (maybe plausible) effects of season, and time of birth falls apart when you consider that the seasons are reversed in the southern hemisphere and that many geographical areas of the world don't have 4 seasons but two - warm/dry and hot/wet. I think it's nonsense to try to find grains of truth in astrology. It's a work of the imagination from a time of magical thinking. (Not saying it's worthless to pursue.)

I would be interested to know what criteria is used to construct the democracy index and how it is plotted on the chart (log or exp) The Democracy PPP figures from 2021 puts Ireland in 2nd place after Luxembourg, however this seems inaccurate because of unaffordable housing and low corporate tax income. This would make the average Irish person no better off than someone living in Bulgaria. Since 2022 the figures have changed significantly. Some would argue the failure of sanctions was due to the economic activity pf the target country being severely underestimated because it was measured in Nominal GDP rather than PPP.. Has this happened before, what was the outcome and what patterns emerged?

I asked one why when i look through my telescope the stars are no where near where astrology claims they are. I didnt get a nice response haha. They will say the moon in in leo right now... i go out side, check, nope, its right in the middle of cancer. I later learnt about the dif systems and how they changed over time. I also found the last time the sky and astrology charts matched was like 300ad.. which is an interesting point in history.

I'm glad you've recognised astrology as a factor in the current zeitgeist. I have a long history of experimenting with planetary magick, so I know from personal experience that one can harness the subtle forces of the planets and signs to alter reality. However, I must admit, no longer do I engage in such operations, as they can produce unwanted or even disastrous results as a consequence. I have maintained that the Aquarian age would be one of great strife for humanity due to egregoric forces pulling different social groups into conflict with one another. If you think that astrological signs affect human personalities, proclivities, etc., because of the rhythms of seasons and cycles of the length of day and night, then you'd have to conclude that this is NOT true for anyone born and raised near the equator. Its most pronounced effect would be on people near the Arctic, and then as you get closer to the equator its effects would be less and less relevant. For people in the south of Argentina, presumably all the star signs would be opposite for anyone north of the equator.

I'm Aquarius in the 13-sign system (the correct one!) and I think about this basically every day. The jig is up, and they know it. That's why they ran the 2020 mass-data-gathering operation on everyone, to see how they can make this play out in their favor. Christianity kept the lid on things effectively, "until the very end of the Age (of Pisces)" and now here we are again, at the crossroads of what feels to me like a New Axial Age. The power vacuum left by the decay of old local/national institutions/beliefs led to the rise of Christianity and other Universal Religions. The same thing is happening now with Communism, Socialism, National-Socialism, etc.

13 sign isnt it from what ive found. Western astro seems to be 24 degrees off. The sidereal astro that uses 13 signs shifts half the zodiac by a few degrees. 12 sign sidereal eastern astrology doesnt perfectly match the sky either. I strongly suggest everyone download the astronomy program stellarium and punch in their birth location and time. Check where all the planets are. See how it relates to various astrology systems. I think the biggest breakthrough i ever made in understanding all the diff zodiacs and systems was when i found a 3 part series by a lady named lavette. Its titled stellarium tutorial.

There are only 12 signs. The idea that there are 13 signs stems from catastrophic misunderstanding, lack of astrological research, and intentional misleading information to discredit astrology. Constellations and Signs are two separate things and were never intended to be viewed as the same. They are homonyms. Signs are regular divisions of the ecliptic based on the relationship between the Sun and Earth. The Constellations are the houses of the Moon. This is stated clearly in all ancient astrological sources and those that suggest otherwise are just parroting out misinformation with or without intention. The brightest and closest star is the Sun and when the Sun is in the sky it is the only star. The Sun rules the day and the Moon and stars rule the night. This is even confirmed in Genesis 1. Astrology used to be sol-lunar now in the west people only think of the Sun and our eastern cousins focus more on the lunar. The Burmese still utilize the closest to the original system. The Age of Aquarius began in the 1400s based on how the Ages were traditionally determined before the infusion of mathematics and redefinitions. This can be further reconciled based on actual societal trends that confirm Aquarian themes.

This seems to be an understandably bias view of the future which could be true for a people who saw prosperity and dominance in the current age. It may be advantageous for those who don’t want to go down in a sinking ship to keep their eyes out for a foreign ship that isn’t going to sink. This would mean leaving behind the old ways and traditions and adopting a new or foreign tradition that have not lead to prosperity in this current age.
