gave me goosebumps, how truly movement helps people, i dance myself, and I have noticed how confidence has grown in me and how i don't care about being embarrassed but so free to express myself.

I must have watched close to a hundred Ted talks. About coaching methods, brain science, mental health, mindfulness, business and what not. The powerful yet simple message in ‘You Are How You Move: Healing Through Dance’ is by far the one that has spoken to me the most. My mind, my body, my soul. So people: Get out there and boogie!! You have all you need: You.

What a slogan, "Movement heals"! And what a tag line, "You are how you move"!! Truly, this is a very effective way to get out of mental and emotional problems of stress/depression that affects 46.4% of American population. Awesome idea.👍👏👏👏

Just came across your talk. Amazing!! I teach a program I created based on yoga and dance. It's all about moving and finding the joy in "your" dance. Love what you're doing! I will also continue to spread the word and the joy of dance. Thank you

Oh, I’m feeling this so much. I also liked to dance as a kid, not just in after curriculum classes. But then teen years came, then bullying, and I lost connection to that side of myself. I only could dance when I was drunk for a while, then stopped at all. I was really deeply unhappy. And now, this year, I’ve decided to come back to it and chose twerking. And not only this is fun and beautiful but also physically challenging. It’s about physical and mental health for me. I feel like myself again 💃🏼 Thank you for this talk, it is important 🙏🏻

It’s easy to comfortable in that beautiful incarnation. Not everyone is gifted. Teenage hardships are different than undesirable features or social anxiety disorder. Just throwin’ it out there.

I was thinking the same but I think it’s the microphone maybe, that makes it so flat but harsh.
