I’m so sorry this happened to you, people’s true colors can be ugly … but man are you handling this with such grace. You sound genuinely empowered, and not like you’re trying to convince us or yourself. This is wrong on so many levels, but you’re still managing to make it right. I’m excited for your brand’s evolution.

"The way I see it, if something makes you sad when it ends, it must have been pretty wonderful when it was happening. Truth be told, I always felt it a bit lazy to just think of the world as sad, because so much of it is. Because everything ends. Everything dies. But if you step back, if you step back and look at the whole picture, if you're brave enough to allow yourself the gift of a really wide perspective, if you do that, you'll see that the end is not sad. It's just the start of the next incredibly beautiful thing."

“ I feel like lessons find you when they need to” well Kalyn the timing of this chat was perfect. I heard somewhere (can’t remember who said it) a few weeks ago that we shouldn’t treat ourselves like that old t-shirt in the back of the closet that we just throw on, toss in the wash and crumple up in a ball in the closet again when we’re done, but rather like that nice shirt we read the washing instructions for and take good care of. That, and what you said about not being the side character, not walking to the bus, really hit home. I feel like I’vedone what other people expect me to for so long, and it just doesn’t serve me anymore. I’m now going to practice actually listening to, and caring for, myself. Lots of love

Such an important video for someone like me who's gone through such a learning journey this year. Understanding what's right and best for myself, in order to stay true to myself isn't easy. Since the beginning of this year, I had to pack two suitcases and move out of my family's home without saying goodbye at the age of 23 -- due to controlling and manipulative family members. I moved abroad to a whole new country and began living with my boyfriend. The backlash I have received after months of being out of that home away from family by family has been so hurtful, but yet at the same time a lot of growth within myself. Leaving at controlling and manipulative roof has allowed me to see so many things for myself about myself and my family's true intentions. It's been a worldwhind, but thank you for always being such an inspiration to look up to Kalyn and all your words of wisdom along this journey. ☺

I can't believe how accurate this is. It's just exactly what I'm going through and exactly what I needed to listen. Rejection is redirection! Thank you so much for sharing. You help so much!!! ❤️ It's so hard to go through tough times and feel like everything you've worked for is not for you. But at the same time it's hopeful. It gives us soon much to explore. So many possibilities!!!! I can't wait to see what's next! Thanks so much! ❤️

I feel happier and living my life for myself. This is to encourage someone "you can start anytime to have a reset it's worth it! I'm striving to continue growing cus it's a journey❤

This video came to me at the perfect time. I am in that „pause/reconsidering/change is coming“-phase and I’m glad to have the opportunity to breathe through this and looking for the right bus because I was sitting at a bus station waiting for a bus that was definitely driving in a direction that’s not for me.

Kalyn, I appreciate your attitude so much, but you shouldn't feel like you need to rebrand All Things Koze just because Jaclyn Hill copied it! Don't let what she did undo the beautiful thing you created. Since you are talking about attachment I will offer you advice from one of my favorite Buddhist teachers. He says that the Buddhist response to being wronged isn't attacking, but it also isn't "turning the other cheek" or walking away. It's confronting the person who wronged you in a steadfast manner, engaging with them, and holding steady. Unless Jaclyn forces you to change the name (or buys your brand - and the amount should be commensurate to its value) you should just keep it and continue All Things Koze! 5 years from now Jaclyn's brand will no longer exist, and you will still be creating koze-y vibes all around ❤
@ThatGirlShelbyy2 жыл бұрын
Exactly!! I’ve seen so many comments stating things about the quality, exchange policy, etc, and it is NOT looking good for Jaclyn’s brand already. I personally unfollowed all of her pages (not that I really cared about her after the last disaster launch she did) Kalyn will flourish, no matter what!

People are always telling me the same thing, which is "My life is so chaotic". The things that they can change about this, they should start to do, but they will always instead decide to leave it for another time, but the more we procrastinate, and choose to "leave it for now", the longer it will take. Time isn't on anyone's side.
