Story about two people falling in love and the stresses of life that could be related to by most people.
On the surface, the thought of Kyouko Hori and Izumi Miyamura getting along would be the last thing in people's minds. After all, Hori has a perfect combination of beauty and brains, while Miyamura appears meek and distant to his fellow classmates. However, a fateful meeting between the two lays both of their hidden selves bare. Even though she is popular at school, Hori has little time to socialize with her friends due to housework. On the other hand, Miyamura lives under the noses of his peers, his body bearing secret tattoos and piercings that make him look like a gentle delinquent.
Having opposite personalities yet sharing odd similarities, the two quickly become friends and often spend time together in Hori's home. As they both emerge from their shells, they share with each other a side of themselves concealed from the outside world.

This episode was so relatable, i had the same issue that Sengoku has. Being too thin and being so conscious about was a mess, i always wore lots of clothes to mask it and going to trips that had pools was so scary. I mean, i still get this complex from now and then but at least i don't have to do those kind of things anymore, but yeah, this are some key topics that should be address to young boys and men. I hope you keep watching this, is such a joy seeing you react to this.

Missing Pieces is funny af, I wished the anime released it how it was supposed to be released but this season is great

Hope you do keep going with this. I watched it a while after seeing the original so had no idea on the timing of specific bits anymore but it didn't hinder my enjoyment at all. Lots of funny scenes and wacky "skits" that I think you guys would have great reactions for.

The "Missing Pieces" episodes tend to jump around a lot more than Season 1. I tried to track down which manga chapters were used in the various episodes for the two Horimiya seasons to mostly get an idea of how the anime time-line varies from the manga time-line. Basically, this is what I came up with. This is a list of the episodes for the 2 anime seasons and the manga chapters that were used in each episode. There are about 142 chapters in the manga: - 33 chapters of the manga were not used at all in the anime (although 11 of these chapters were "special" chapters about Toru's dreaming of his friends as kitties called the Meow-mura chapters) - 53 chapters were referred to in Season 1 - 50 chapters were referred to in Season 2 - some chapters were used in multiple episodes

I planned on starting it over the weekend but never did. I ended up watching the new Mr. & Mrs. Smith with Donald Glover. Still planing on starting this though. For as well as it did against Toradora it has to be really good.

missing pieces really doesn't add much. It's basically just a full season OVA with noticeably lower production quality. People who are interested in missing pieces really should just read the manga at that point. You'd get a lot more out of that.

@YaBoyRockLee sure but watching it would take 4 hours and you still only get a small portion and some of the best chapters aren't even in missing pieces anyway. Reading the manga wouldn't take that much longer and youd get more and better horimiya content if thats what you're after.

The manga is great; definitely worth checking out. But I also enjoyed Missing Pieces--it's a lot of fun, and I just enjoy spending more time with these characters

Well thats just your opinion and your opinion is objectively wrong. It adds a LOT. If you want to read then read. I want the voice acting and the emotions you only get from voice acting and music.
