Mike, I was in music production many, many years ago (late '60's) and had a similar experience to yours at the Palladium, in Hollywood. Our crew was doing the sound, mics, monitors, mixing boards, etc for a 24 hour Rock and Roll show, all the greats were there, B B King, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, etc. I had the opportunity to Explore backstage and Upstairs in the catwalks and various other Secluded areas of that venerable theater, just Amazing !

The coolest thing I have ever seen is climbing St Peter's dome where you get to see Michelangelo's magnificent tile work, but look down on the altar and if you continue to the top you get the most stunning views of St Peter's Square but 360 views of Rome ... to this day I still get chills just remembering that experience🌟🌟🌟

Thanks guys !!! I did not notice any of the afore mentioned sounds that you spoke of hahaha. Yea I am to busy listening to the content to notice much tho. And I am an audio engineer so I usually do hear that stuff and yes it can drive me bannas hehe. I think the mike have enough gain so thats pretty much what we hear yea Mike was a little off camber now and again but his voice is soo good it still sounds good !! I am the mom and full-time caregiver for my adult daughter with profound autism. ❤ Since it isn't a 30 yr old Princess having a meltdown (yellind, grappling, throwing things), NONE of those "extra" noises and goings on bother me in the least. 😂 I guess, like most things, it is all about perspective. 😅

I appreciate Chuck's need to strive for excellence, but it does get a little over the top at times. I don't notice any of the things that he ever worries about. I've even tried to back up the tape to hear some of the noises he has heard in past episodes, and cannot hear them... not even Mike's Mom filing her nails! And even if I did hear all of it... it would be worth it. The only thing that I miss in this format is the ability to have you both on the screen constantly. I like being able to see the facial expressions of each of you reacting to each other. I also wish you would put the entire podcast on video, not just clips. Couldn't you put the long version, and the short version for those that want it?

As someone who has sung in choirs for 35 years, I assure you that barbershop is definitely cool! Y'all are a hoot! Love both the intro songs. Keyboard Cat was a sensation online about 10-12 years ago. As current president of the Cat Writers' Association (yep; it's a thing!), I've since had the pleasure to have met a number of celebrity cats through the years! As one of my cohorts in the cat world said recently, "Dogs are cool, but cats are sexy."
