Courtney Courtney.. I relate with this video so so much. I was so scared when I saw you slowly retreat but that break from it all is so so needed. Sometimes when everything is popping we lose our focus on God; not even by purpose as well. That feeling of emptiness I strongly believe is God trying to pull you back towards him; cause we as humans tend to search for things we feel like we are missing. So I'm glad you're trying to refocus on him. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all other things will be added on to you". All that being said, you're doing amazing sweetie. I can relate to this feeling of having a lifestyle that's always in overdrive and not having an outlet or someone to vent out to or even when your mind traps itself from looking out for your mental health. For a a reminder to give yourself self care, I try my best to listen to podcasts, instead of music when I'm commuting, doing laundry, doing my makeup or taking a shower. Here are some that really helped me mentally: Black Girls in Om, Optimal Daily Living, Oprah Super Soul Sunday, and sometimes even Joyce Meyers. I hope if you do have the time to listen to some of them on the apple podcast, they will inspire you, just like the way you inspire me 💕

👋🏾 It's nice to see you again, I was wondering what happened when your upload pattern changed but I don't think it's right to hound or demand content creators. I completely understand where you are coming from , that emptiness is so frustrating and you can find you don't even have time to be frustrated because there are so many demands and you know how much stronger and joyful you would be if you prioritised God but life wants to get in the way. I admire the courage you took to turn off for some time , I believe it was a positive act of self preservation, some , given the same spotlight as you recently have would have ridden the wave and made sure they were getting "all these things" but you want to "seek first the Kingdom of God". Your priorities are right and I know your heart towards God is sincere so I know in this period as you draw closer to Him ,He will show you more and you will be surrounded by His warm, comforting , sanity preserving embrace.
