Hello @Sarah Jones. You are welcome! 😁 I can only educate here. That's enough for many women to make changes and get healthy! Just knowing that we can dose higher is VERY helpful! My doctors accepted it once I told them I was on a higher dose. None were too excited. I think my diet really helps. And daily exercise. They know I am serious about health & wellness. It's a priority. It lets me reach all my other life goals. That's why I became a coach. There are only 9 of 6500 Board Certified Coaches working with menopausal women. It's a difficult time. It is the most difficult coaching session because of the anxiety and depression. Most coaching techniques don't work well when hormones are low. This is a lost community of women. Hello@Ann marie Day. Hopefully women can learn from my mistakes. Our medical system is not set up for our optimal care. It's complicated. One ObGyn said that she gets paid for delivering babies and surgery. That's where the money is. Not in menopause or discussions on hormones. I do understand the diet factor is so complex that a doctor can't really teach nutrition. They have to swim upstream against fads that take up the airwaves. An experiment with paleo or the autoimmune protocol will tell you what foods are holding you back. We only know if we experiment. That's our life now. Optimizing health! Slowing down our aging process. There is nothing natural about not adding hormones! We don't feel well until we do. You can see how one or two doctor changes and a stressful year can take you off track. Please don't make my mistakes. Track your doses, and ask for more if you don't feel well and strong. Hello @S K. Yes, body shape is driven by hormones with nutrition and exercise. It's so many things. I know this can be frustrating. The breast shape is activated by estradiol. Estradiol moves fat to the hips if you have any. Testosterone builds muscles and helps your body stay firm and respond to exercise. Just adding the estradiol might move your active testosterone to zero! Protein in the diet will also carry testosterone around to the tissue. Any deficit in nutrition will play a role win HRT. I always recommend paleo or autoimmune protocol as they are nutrient dense and anti-inflammatory diets. It all works together. Your body is one system. We can't stay fit and do just one thing! You might be interested to know that the SWAN study found that women age 40-65 were 2-4 times more likely to have depression. This makes diet and exercise impossible. Only 1.7% of women had a nutritious diet and daily exercise! That’s what it takes to be healthy! That’s what it takes for vitality. I don't know your full condition or your options for health and wellness. Light therapy is the number one recommendation. See my video on light therapy. I just started on hrt 2 weeks ago. I am 45 years old and my doctor prescribed me only testosterone, progesterone and thyroid but she didn't prescribed me estrogen. You think I need it? I do feel horrible, super tired all the time, brain fog and mood changes. Thank you!❤.. She prescribed me thyroid but she said is in the normal range but she told me if is higher i will feel better and i don't know if should take it .

I had a saliva test done after 7 months of what I feel is too low a dose Beist troche. My estrone was 38, estradiol 2, and estriol 12. Testosterone was supposedly normal at 30 and progesterone 52. My estradiol is the same now as it was at baseline before HRT. I am considering coaching, as I feel horrible despite HRT treatment. I'm taking estriol and estradiol, yet only my estrone has raised and my doctor doesn't see anything wrong with this.

Hi kitty: just curious, my blood results show that my sex hormone binding globulin is very high, can that cause hair loss, if my sex hormone binding globulin is high does that mean my testosterone is low or high, I am considering talking to my doctor about going on testosterone therapy to help with thinning hair, and also to get all the other benefits of testosterone.
