Looked at a lot of timetables It's possible to go from the Connecticut-Rhode Island border to Arlington, Virginia on "local" buses and it takes about two full days to do it. The only obnoxious gap being Joppatowne to White Marsh. The only questionable "express" bus is the njt bus from Port Authority to Lakewood.
@MosheArcade2 жыл бұрын
Well say this…. I don’t know this route at all but say once you get to the port authority (I assume you gonna be there) you take a bus to Newark and take the NJT 67 to Lakewood.
@davidrivera97432 жыл бұрын
@@MosheArcade the 67 would also be called a questionable local bus for the same reason the 139 is. And sometimes time of day is the reaso that the 139 is taken ( re. A 24 hr a day route). Otherwise New York to Old Bridge is 108 to the 59 to the 48 to the 810 and 818 to get to Old Bridge at a point where the 139 is local.

Stew Leonard's is quite the supermarket! Never been to the Norwalk location, but when I lived in Westchester, I grew up going to the one in Yonkers (which is served by Bee-Line and is on top of a hill so it has some great views) and Stew Leonard's is the Disneyland of supermarkets like Jungle Jim's in Ohio! The supermarket is designed as an experience where you walk through the entire store unlike the typical supermarket (so basically like IKEA), and besides the petting zoo, they have a coffee bar (with freshly roasted beans), fresh mozzarella, buffet, a bunch of tasting booths, costumed characters, a soft-serve ice cream stand, and A LOT of animatronics (yes...ANIMATRONICS) like a singing tree telling you to drink Poland Spring water! The diner you saw at 8:27 is specifically the Athenian Diner III and it's a 1997 diner made by the DeRaffele Manufacturing Co. of New Rochelle, according to Dinerville! The reason that bridge at 6:50 has all those flags is because for decades, Westport has honored jUNe Day (created by Ruth Steinkraus Cohen in 1965 in observance of the signing of the UN charter on June 26th, 1945) and United Nations Day on October 24th every year by flying flags of the member nations on the Ruth Steinkraus Cohen Bridge as the late Juilliard-trained pianist Ruth Steinkraus Cohen lived in Westport and was a staunch advocate for the United Nations and the national and state levels. WWII left a deep impression on Ruth, and she did not hesitate when in 1956 her friend Eleanor Roosevelt asked her to serve as her personal secretary on a World Federation of UN Associations mission to Warsaw, Berlin and Budapest, and she never looked back! While accompanying Roosevelt in Poland, the husband of one of their female interpreters was arrested for purchasing a copy of "One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich by Alexander Solzhenitsyn. This incident gave Ruth an idea of using Westport as a base affording diplomats and politicians an opportunity to meet ordinary people and help them to stay in touch with every day life!

That means you can retire at 45 to 50, by not owning one. Now, take away mortgage and rents, others costs and you own your own time. Plus, its environmentally friendly.

@MilesinTransit2 жыл бұрын
I was recently introduced to the sourdough nibblers by Classy Whale and they are FANTASTIC! My one problem with them is that the mini bags are smaller than other types so I always feel like I'm getting fewer pretzels for the same price (which might just be a psychological thing). For when I'm at home, I like rods and (controversially) Old Tyme, but when I'm on the go, I like to get the basic minis! Snaps are great too, but I don't think they make mini bags of those.

You might take these suggestions in jest, but as we transition to a more based society, we need to make provisions for the foamers that have had to exist in a car centric society for so long.
