The house is large and quite affordable. If I were to buy it as a single person with a cat, I wouldn’t be able to utilize all the rooms. Cleaning this house on my own is out of the question :) Heating this castle would surely cost a fortune. A solar farm would probably reduce energy costs. As a frugal person, I believe the maintenance costs of this place are enormous. Why is the price so low? In Switzerland, a much smaller property with lake access costs 60 million euros.

Yeah, historic buildings tend to be maintenance intensive. Also, I'm pretty sure the historical preservation restrictions would preclude solar panels.

I just subscribed to your channel! And gave you a thumbs up for the enticing photography and video effects. Great building restoration. Not sure the canopy terrace feature compliments the home well. A large picnic umbrella would go better with the period of the house. Nice kitchen features. Impressive architecture from outside and yet disappointing there in no formal entrance and foyer. The skinny hall way upon entering was deflating. Would be interested to know how expensive the maintenance yearly cost would be for the home, gardens/grounds and taxes. I have to agree with other comments here the tacky eclectic modern interior design seemed to lesson the architectural features. The retro 1970s eclectic look was a bit too colorful and even woke. A Nicolas Fairford interior would have been breathtaking inside or featuring a call back to 1980s Laura Ashley style that adds only a touch of eclectic treatments. If I see another plastic chair or curved sofa and Warhol reproduction... I am very sorry for sounding negative but we expect to be wowed when prices go over 1 million.

Why would I pay 3.6 million to share the house and grounds I've got a similar property in Yorkshire mines about a 1/3 larger than the whole house and it came with 100 acres it was 2.3million but needed renovating fully it cost 1.2 million to do so for the same price I've got a 4 times larger property than there selling 94 acres more and no neighbours all for being 180miles up the country it's just a no brainer to me

It's so funny how EVERY TIME in a luxury home, the presenters say "perfect for having parties". All these luxury houses are built with that intent. Seems like the rich only have that in mind... Nobody would need this much space anyway if it wasn't for a family of 10 (which is very unlikely).
