People who are anti public healthcare love to bring up UK and Canada, while conveniently leaving out Australia and Japan. The difference being Australia and Japan actively fund their healthcare, while the UK and Canada drag their feet and make excuses not too.

US politicians aren't trustworthy, so why the hell would we trust them to pay for healthcare? I believe IP laws should be removed and the FDA abolished to allow more private entities to manufacture and produce healthcare for a cheaper price. Afterall a centralized healthcare system requires the government to over tax people for sub par quality healthcare.

@benjamintherogue24219 сағат бұрын
Yes, people didn't understand what was happening and they made the situation worse with their outrage. The new rule was that anesthesiologists couldn't surprise bill people. They had to accept the amount they said they would originally charge for the service, not change it later. Now that rule was dropped because people got emotional and upset without actually looking into what it was they were emotional and upset about.

Originally when the news first broke I was all about "oh man, this guy had a family, that sucks." But the more I heard about how, well, evil he was. How greedy he was. How, just, un-human he was. I'm cool with what happened. And I don't doubt this will start a new trend, one where villainous CEOs of big companies will need to fear the walk out to their blood money car to get to their billion dollar mansion.

How was he greedy? Health insurance companies have a less than 5% profit margin. If that's greedy for you, then there isn't a single person safe from your murderous wrath.

@@jamesconnollysmustache735 People never address the problem with capacity People never address the administrative burden People never address a dozen other issues that make health care so expensive that the average person NEEDS insurance to begin with. Everyone just watches the costs of care spiral out of control and then get mad at the insurance companies which only exist to cover the cost by pooling everyone's money. Fine, get outraged by the fact that it costs so much that one needs to get insurance for even basic care because of the system that was created through government incompetence, ignorance, indifference and placation. But realize that you're suggesting solutions that won't work and making the insurance companies the easy patsy... because OF COURSE it's easy to be angry at people you pay money to who make your life harder when they should make it easier... just like government already has. And yes; there are bad actors... but no one is EVER justified to do what this murder did... praising it is just sick.

@@jamesconnollysmustache735 Because there's a lot of people who seem to need to hear it. Why are you repeating the Socialist nonsense that profits from doing a job are somehow monstrous? So yeah, it does matter. You want to kill these people for greed, yet I just pointed out how they're not that terribly greedy at all. Then you want to handwave that away and say they should be killed anyways. This is why Socialist systems all collapse. They play into that murderous intent inherent in people like you.

Hello I am from the United States and have lived abroad as well. The reason some of us praise Luigi Mengion is because he is a symbol of poetic justice and it shows by the fact that he took the life of someone who single handedly ended many lives including that of some of my loved ones. Its all love, but its time for people to end the scam that is insurance.

How did it get mostly this bad? They tried to make it public health care. My copay, premiums, monthly payments have gone up 4 times what they were in 2007. And if you think that public healthcare is the solution, I'd like to point to Canada & the UK... where MAID is on the menu.

This is foolishness. It's like this because the government allows it to be like this. Make no mistake: If the government wanted to, they could crush both the healthcare and the insurance industries into absolute dust. There is masive collusion betweent these sectors and politicians who are supposed to be regulating this BS.
