One thing that is very interesting i think you could have mentioned was that Mihawk doesn't trust people, this was mentioned in the conversation between him and Crocodile, when he was saying that him and Mihawk are the same in that they don't trust others, I think this will be fleshed out in the future. Another thing that i just thought of is that Mihawk was also known as the Marine Hunter and now he has completely flipped sides and is even working for the Marines/World Government even though he once "hunted" them before, I think this might end up tying in with the not trusting people. I cant wait until Mihawk gets flushed out a lot more, Oda has saved all these really strong and important characters for the end.

Good video and analysis! However, it is really difficult to defend Mihawk from the haters, who are absolutely right about him. He has basically no feats (just anti-feats from MF), there's not much going for him story-wise and he feels really disconnected from the events in the final saga (just a Zoro victim), he doesn't want to do anything and fight anyone and his portrayal so far isn't even comparable to Shanks's And I'm saying all of this as a Mihawk stan 😢

He does have quite a few things he's BEYOND EVERYONE else in the series. Best skill? Mihawk Best Blade? Mihawk These 2 alone means the most skilled in the world also has the best Blade in the world. Which means he's the person in the entire world that can get the most out of a weapon. Imagine weapons are graded from 0% to 100%. Same for skill. Then that means Mihawk got 100% on both. Which means at best, even if someone else got the second strongest blade + second best skill.. That would still be 99% + 99% (assuming they are even close) But Realistically the amount of swordsman that have extremely good skill that also have extremely good blades is VERY small to non existent. (At best their blade is a supreme grade without even being a black blade). Next, 3) he's the only person for the last hundreds of years to have the capabilities to create a black blade. Besides Ryuma the Sword God from Hundreds of years ago; only Mihawk was able to. And it seems you need a combination of experiencing multiple battles and haki. Which means Mihawk surpassed all others in those requirements. It's not exactly confirmed yet though, so it might require even more stuff. And finally the least confirmed part is his observation. Hawk eyes and Clairvoyant. Rival of the killer of observation. ... Oh yeah... he is also the strongest swordsman (aka above all swordsman, which should include Shanks, and any Swordsman on that tiers)

I'm with admiral agenda but this one hell nah. Luffys commander final opponent is top of the top I don't think. Oda would never treat a Yonkos like he treated Mihawk at Marineford Oda gave him a final bounty of 3.6bill which is a bit above the admiral but below Yonkos and likely fleet admiral. He should scale around Prime ray which is close to the top of the top but not there. Not on Akainu, Shanks, ... Level. Also Oda most recently said Mihawk surpasses Shanks in swordskill, which is a specific metric. Also their duels were years ago, Mihawk stagnated since he is a bum.

In my opinion I feel like shanks has gotten stronger than mihawk because after their last duel shanks has become an emperor and is constantly fighting meanwhile mihawk seems to have lost his ambition after shanks lost his arm, so shanks has definitely had more of a power up over the years while mihawk has stayed the same, they were both equal when they dueled before but currently shanks>mihawk

Before watching this I'm gonna guess that a lot of the points made about misunderstanding Mihawk are actually Mihawk fans misunderstanding and over estimating him.
