I’m a new subscriber. I’m watching to learn how to apply your cutting techniques to enable me to cut my own hair. I recently cut off my 35”, 300 count interlocks to relax and wear my hair straight for a while. I’m starting with shorter layers until my hair grows back out again. I’m a 69 year old male with a full head of silver, streaks at my temples, fast growing hair that I throughly enjoy! I’ll adapt the cuts to compliment my facial hair in a manly way. I ditched my boring chin length bob and got a bixie. I love it. Not only cooler in this heat but so easy to style because it's supposed to be messy. I have thin hair and as it flattens during the day, I just run my fingers through it and lift, maybe tease it a bit and shape with my fingers. The only bad thing is it needs to be cut more frequently than a bob. But I think a bixie is more youthful and playful than the frumpy, flat bob.

Recommendation for those of us with not only "ridiculously thick hair" but what I call "broomstick hair". So thick, so so thick ... seems no hairdresser can cut it in a way that gives it any movement without it being a total hack job. So tired of growing out bad cuts, only to have the process repeated.
