Is it a Swedish company? I am swedish. And mönster in swedish means pattern. That would go well with custom van building, dealing with patterns etc
@robertlindberg815 Жыл бұрын
They don’t pronounce it like in Swedish but they spell it like the word for pattern.

QUESTION: Do you know anyone who will build an aluminum box on the back of a Dodge/Ford van/truck frame?--I think of like an Airstream trailer shell (durability) mounted to the back the way B+ van builds are done.

Thank you for posting! I enjoyed watching and learning from your video. I love looking inside different Vans to see how they are set up. Have you ever thought of doing "Before" and "After" videos? Simply where you show the empty van and then a speeded up fixing up of the van and then a detailed look atthe finished van. I think that would be popular. Also, is there any way that you could add CC or just let YT add captions? Only because I am partially deaf in my left ear and it helps me to not have to rewind to understand. I dream of being on the road one day in a van, pickup camper or 5th wheel. (I will retire to a Tiny House afterwards when I am too old to drive) I spend time every Sunday evening reading books, magazines, emails...and listening to YT videos, vlogs, podcasts, etc....I have a large notebook that I have pasted and taped all kinds of ideas, places I want to visit, maps, pics of all my favorites from brochures and magazines and lots of other "stuff". I think it is a bit of an obsession with me, frankly : ) I am lucky that I have a second job as a Shift Manager on Saturdays and Sundays at Barnes and Noble as I can take home magazines about Van Life and RVing and read the articles to my heart's content and then cut them up if I like any of the pictures!

I will look more into CC. It’s not easy me posting a before and after videos as I’m not doing these builds. I have done some builds in the past and have done series on every build and will also show the whole build in one video but people still tend to watch the finished product. More people enjoy watching a full build of a home, but not so much a van. Those that do show full builds are nice and all but I have a theory I might get bashed for but I believe you’re either a builder or content creator, very hard to be both. The “real” builders are building multiple vans per month and they don’t need to show the whole process. Of course just my opinion

It is unfortunate that there is much arrogance towards DIYer from ‘successful’ van builders. They forget that they were once a DIYer themselves. This may bite them in the a$$ down the road. RossM is one of them in my experience unfortunately. But I guess this is how new van builders get business.🎉
@MannyWC Жыл бұрын
@@DuffyGabi often DIYer have to do their vans because there are no van builders in their area. I even tried to get a tiny house builder to take on the project. Nevertheless, DIYers shouldn’t be snubbed by professional van builders as we are why they have a business. Grassroots baby!

What happened to your regular people van builds. Even though these are nice, they are Toys for the rich. This is the complete opposite of what van life is about and you have completely lost your way. These vans are NOT practical for the common person and is not what van life is about

Word. I put 25K into my van build DIY. I reached out to RM to see about adding some upgrades…said my van is DIY- and they ditched me like a hot potato.
