Thank you for showing off my Kyber crystals from iamGEEKshop. For the Gatherer Crystal you don’t have to insert the shard into the crystal for it to work. You just have to touch the shard to the bottom of the crystal chamber when the clear crystal is inserted. Also, the easiest way to reset the lightsaber to change colors is to pop the blade out and reinsert it. Then just touch the next color to the bottom of the crystal chamber while turning it on. I have a video on my KZbin channel iamGEEKshow explaining how to work it. 😁 If you want the crystal to always be one color then that is when you would insert it into the crystal itself.

I have a couple of kybers from different shops, but my favorite is the Black Spire kyber iamgeek gave put to cast members on May the 4th. It actually looks like a piece of the black Spire! 🤯

Placed an order for a few crafted core crystals before the announcement of the Halcyon crystal, and now I'm trying to figure out if there are any other crystals I want so I'm not tempted to order just 1. Also ordered from Tinker's cove about the same time and am waiting for my Krayt Pearl, and Solari Crystal to be delivered. They don't have the pearl listed anymore unfortunately. Might have to pick up some of their others after seeing them in your video. I've been tempted by the Gnarltree and the Chosen One crystals from IAmGeek. Just because they're so unique looking. I don't even have a Galaxy's Edge lightsaber or Holocron yet. I just like how the crystals look (and in case they stop making them when I do eventually go to GE and get a lightsaber.)

The pearl will be back soon! We're working on a redesign that will bring the best of the original along with the better steps we've learned in the last iteration. This will be re-released alongside a modern fixture version for those that don't like the Warrior Heirloom style.

Those are all super awesome! But I wish someone could reprogram the crystals to include voice clips from other Jedi masters and maybe to manipulate the lightsabers to produce other colors. For instance, if they had a green lightsaber crystal and can program voice clips from Kit Fisto. And let's say they make an orange kyber crystal that is programmed with Cal Kestis' voice clips, and maybe somehow manipulated the colors to fuse red and yellow lighting to appear orange.

That would require a whole new holocron since the voice clips are stored on the holocrons themselves not the crystals. Similar with the Savi’s blades. Orange and teal can be unlocked if a custom blade is used

@The Dan-O Channel Okay, that makes sense. Well, then someone should do that! Haha! Just make a custom third-party holocron with all kinds of custom voice clips assigned to custom crystals. Although, I'm sure the holocrons could be reprogrammed as well, by a skilled and talented person, right?

I can just imagine cool voice clips from characters like Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, Aayla Secura, Galen Marek, Tera Sinube, Shaak Ti, Cal Kestis, and so many more!

You should recommend to either of them to make an Anakin crystal one side blue the other red and in the holocron either side should have the line “Master Skywalker there’s too many of the what are we gonna do” or if I got that wrong the correct version I recited it from memory

The lines I. The holocron are all pre programmed. The crystals just unlock which files it plays. Unfortunately that line isn’t part of the holocron. 😞

Each crystal is programmed with a custom Code to unlock specific colors on the saber and voices in the holocron. It’s not random.

Have you seen any that create like a teal color rather than blue and green?

The color doesn’t really come from the crystal. It’s all pre programmed into the chassis. The crystals just have a numeric code telling it what color to show. Some have made modified blades to work with these sabers and those have a wider range of colors but as is, they don’t light up teal. There is a code for teal which makes the chamber light up teal, but the blade isn’t programmed to do so.
