I'm an Orthodox Christian and we have the belief that we are composed of the paternal (Father / Patterns / Heavenly Realm) and maternal (Mother / Material / Earthly realm). We come from dust and to dust we will return. To be created from dust means that millions of smaller pieces of earth come together in marriage with the spirit, the patterns of ideas and principles, things unseen, and we are a blend of this. When we form churches, communities, countries, families and groups, we are millions of people coming together under our shared love and form a body together. This pattern repeats when there is love, and it breaks down when there is hatred. I'm glad I found your channel, hopefully I can check out some more videos soon :)

So do you believe in "life" after death or some kind of next journey? I'm not particulary religious, but I was christened Church of England (protestant) as a child and the thought of death being the final ending really scares me.

If you consider mortality, it is our bodies breaking down, and eventually, in death, the "marriage" of how our body is composed, begins to decompose, and our body dissolves. The Bible talks about God breathed into man the breath of life, and he became a living being. Heaven (spirit) in union/marriage with Earth (body). All of creation has this pattern. We die because we are imperfect and don't know how to maintain a perfect union forever. We make choices by our own free will that cause divisions between us. Think of a symphony where everyone is playing their own notes (sometimes badly out of tune) without listening to the conductor. Only by listening to the conductor (God) do we have a reference to continue to play in sync so that reality doesn't break down anymore. The reason why we have faith in Jesus as the way, the truth, and the light is that God takes on human nature, showing us an in the body experience of how to live our lives. A perfect performance listening to the conductor. Now we know how the song is supposed to be played. For the first time, we have heard how beautiful music can be.
