I've done that hike, it was actually the first 'date' I had with my boyfriend :''') he told me we were going for a hike/walk through Kirstenbosch, but I didn't realise that we were actually hiking all the way up the damn mountain. We got back in the dark and I was half-dead and starving.

When I studied abroad at UCT skeleton's gorge was a favorite hike. Probably did it about 7 times or so, can swim at the top. Also, definitely would be quicker to go straight down to camps bay then all the way across the top of the mountain and back down to kirstenbosch

Oh man, you made it seem like the hike was so easy! I did Platteklip Gorge last month and it took me 4 hours. It was soooo hard! But totally worth it! Cape Town is such a dream!!!

PLatteklip is the worst, haha. It's just straight up steps all the way to top :) Indian Vensters is the way to go if you're hiking in from Tafelberg Road.
