You are 100% correct. I managed to make all my dreams come true and I am "successful", but whenever I accomplished something, I soon felt empty. I thought that maybe I had some type of depression, but after starting a journey of knowing myself, I discovered that my problem was focusing too much on result, I idealized how to achive the goal and in this idealization "life would never be the same" However when I did it, I remained the same. Today I know that the journey within ourselves is more important and there is no emptiness when we discover something new in ourselves, it is always an unprecedented adventure. I really like your channel and your refletions. It's to easy yo find people to share sports, drinks and parties with but to share reflections only on KZbin lol

In a time of crisis I had an epiphany, a moment of clarity, the simplicity of which was overwhelming. It was simply this: whatever you choose to do, be light hearted and loving while you do it. That’s not as easy as it sounds, but when putting it into practice, I’m happy. You’re right, achieving things won’t make you happy. Loving and laughing will.

All we need is each other to share our truths with... When you think about it, wanting success is just wanting to feel worthy of attention, love, care, respect, inclusion, self-acceptance... we chase an emotion via a result, not realizing the result cannot be achieved over and over again and giving the same emotion. A specific energy in motion, a frequency of self transcendence is what we desire. Growing beyond our human shell. The funny thing is this state can be achieved by focusing our attention inwards but we try to achieve it by doing outwards... Its been 2 months since I started raising my frequency via inward focus. And I've been truly happy discovering fishing again as an adult, and I swear when you focus on being high vibing, things just start lining up for you in unexpected ways... I love the rawness, keep it pumping 💪

The way you speak about is the way of action, and yes I agree, it is necessary for some people to go through that trouble just to see that fact. But if one can see the fact that happiness does not lie out there, that happiness is not something you can get by seeking it, then you need not go through all the trouble. Here is a quote that this video reminded of, "There is happiness only when the self and its demands are put aside." It is quite true, we are the happiest when we are not deliberately seeking it, not even when we are concerned about it.

I feel like it's easy for me to dip my toes into something and kind of try it, but it takes courage to put yourself all the way out there, because you're so vulnerable. The whole world will see you stand up and fail a lot, but how else do you accomplish a goal? I feel like inventors and creators know that they are inventors and creators and have something to offer to the world. So, that's enough of a reason for creators and inventors to stand up. Like you said, success won't solve all your problems and make you happy all the time, but you can still continue on the path of your dreams, and grow your skills to you full potential, and even if it goes unrecognized, you've technically still succeeded. You know in your heart the honest work that you've done and the victories you've claimed. An expert in the middle of nowhere is still an expert. And who says maybe in the end you won't find ultimate happiness in living life as you wanted to. Good hearing from Alex on the circle-chair-thing.

@@PromisingPod You’re right, it’s incredibly vulnerable. People around you will doubt you, criticize you, and see you succeed and fail. It is in pursuit of those experiences, even the painful ones, that makes life so much more fruitful. Even the conquering of our fears is such a powerful thing for a person to go through. Even if in the end it might not truly fulfill you, at least, like you said, you’ve done something rather than have done nothing.

i had been alternating between phases of extreme dedication to a thing that i wanted to accomplish and complete resignation for a long time. when i wanted something it became my everything and i put all my time and effort into it. when i got it, i felt great and very accomplished and i felt like...wow...this is too good...i dont deserve that...or... can life really be that good? and then i always selfsabotaged and that frustrated me to a point where life lost all meaning to me. at a point i had such a breakdown that i barely landed back to my feet again....but i got back up somehow...dont ask me how. it made me rethink my whole existence and forced me to dig deep and question everything....i would like to write about some of the conclusions i have discovered but i have to leave for work right now...maybe another time. bye
@AnLittleAlex

@@izgl i think that is why no matter what, one should still strive to dedicate themselves to whatever it is they dream of achieving. The breakdowns are painful, but that is when we can recollect ourselves and learn about ourselves in a very profound way.

@@AnLittleAlex in retrospect i think that i did not even have a choice than going all in. i was once so fascinated with something that it became the single reason for my existence and i chased it day and night for several years. i did put aside nearly everything else. but it brought me to the brink of destruction and in the end i was so exhaused that it took ages to recover. it tought me that i went about life and personal groth the completely wrong way...i was always like a pitbull...sinking my teeth in and never letting go...not able to relax a single moment...yet i had to go through this to realize it. and it felt so uncomfortable to just open up to the moment in the beginning but letting go and just to be comfortable within my surrounding in general has become my most important tool. or something like that...its hard to put it into words for me sometimes. it still evades me from time to time...but i think i will never loose it completely again.

Another cool place to shoot. Great video. Money doesn’t buy happiness, correct. However it’s better to be unhappy with money. Then to be unhappy without money.
@enneaf1676
@enneaf1676 2 ай бұрын
Those unhappy with money are the ones who do not know the definition of "enough". They will be unhappy either way, money or no. To be unhappy without money, would be the type to do anything to acquire money, setting aside the money-less things one could do to nurture happiness, such as showing compassion to another. That is free. Or sitting under a tree, petting a dog, saying hello to a neighbor. Money cannot buy happiness or cure unhappiness. It's meant to be a symbolic tool of exchange, not a measure of emotion or well-being.

Some intelligent people can just imagine having the things, project themselves in the situation in a grounded realistic fashion, "play the video" and just like that, they know it won't make them happy, not only that but it's more like a burden to bare
