In Australia paper plates were used when we had a picnic or BBQ. They would then be thrown into the compost (torn up) to break down. I just thought it was funny seeing you using them for almost all meals. Now i understand it's to save on doing dishes! I'd find it too expensive to use them that way. Ceramic is easier & i guess I'm just use to doing dishes 😂

Hey Al, tonight I have made the dish that Shiloh made the other day with the London Broil in the crock pot. I added the dry salad dressing seasoning and the Au Jus packet and the sliced pepperoncinis. I also sliced a red onion in mine. We are having it tonight when my daughter gets home. It smells so good. Oh and we use paper plates all the time. But depending on what we have, we will use regular plates. I'm a firm believer in paper plates also. LOL. UPDATE HERE AL! We just had this dish and it was sooo good! Tell Shiloh it was a hit. I have leftovers for a hoagie sandwich.

I'm making it tomorrow. First roast I've bought in a year, and I've been craving it! Going on low in the crock pot in the morning, so I can smell it all day. Might add a little extra beef broth with corn starch for gravy to go over rice. 2nd thought- on high after a couple errands. Would hate to get home to a burned but full doggy.

Yes, I use paper plates & wax paper & I have made the beef roast on the BBQ wrapped in aluminum foil with cream of mushroom soup & Worcestershire sauce! I really like these family videos. I started watching the tall grass videos & now I am watching the family videos. You & Shiloh are good loving patient parents. The chickens are great. They make great pets as well as food providers. Keep up the videos.

We are currently living in a trailer waiting for our house to be built. We use paper plates all the time to make dishwashing less of a hassle. Once the house is built we'll probably go back to mostly using regular plates, but we'll also have a dishwasher (game changer!). Loving your daily vlogs! Keep 'em coming!

I wouldn't buy enough to pay for the membership. I used to go there. As for paper plates, I used to use them when my son, his girlfriend and three other people, her son's, lived here. I have a dishwasher but I would be running it 10 times a day if I washed the dishes of all of us. I now use fine china because I am worth it! Noah did not have a very big part in this one. At least I heard him say "See you tomorrow"! That makes my day. See you all tomorrow!

Dinner looks good. Libby's pigtails are so cute, and I love her dress. It's very cute. No, I don't use paper plates. I used to have chickens, and I fed them all kinds of kitchen scraps and chicken fed, and our coop could be moved around in the field every few days so they could free-range inside the coop. I loved how each chicken had their own clucking sound after they laid an egg. Each egg was a little different. I got to know which chicken laid what egg. Love the videos.

I am a 54-year-old woman from Denmark. I have never used paper plates and would be sad to eat a delicious meal off of one. Furthermore, I think it is a waste of resources to use disposable plates, cups and cutlery. In Denmark, we recycle everything. We sort in many categories, for example cardboard, plastic, electronics, cans, glass, clothes, food scraps and it's really good. Thanks to you and your lovely family for some great vlogs.

I was chasing the 13 year old around the house last night and playing catch with a helicopter blade on a stick toy. You spin the stick to see where it goes. It usually hits the ceiling lol. Your baby girl is so cute! I loved it when she looked at the camera and started wiping her mouth off. Reminds me of when my babies were little, my youngest is off at her first year of college. We have paper plates here always... learned I could avoid having to have the conversation about who was going to do the dishes. I am not a big golf person but the way you mix it in works. I hate doing dishes so I use paper plates and then I rinse them off and re-use them as long as the food hasn't soaked in, I like to save money, then I recycle them by using them for tinder in a bomb fire. I'm a farmer, never heard of chickens eating pumpkin. I have raised chickens, pigs, cows, goats, sheep and horses. We own 250 acres. Love your videos AL

I love all your videos. Blessed family. I love that the whole family sits at the dinner table for dinner. As far as paper plates, we use them maybe twice a year -- picnics. We're glass/stoneware type plate users, but my husbanld and I are 70 years old -- so perhaps it has more to do with generation -- or maybe location. We live up north. Regardless, whether paper, plastic, glass or another medium, it is a vessel to hold the food until it hits the stomach. It is all good. :) God bless you and yours.

I don't use paper plates all that much because I live alone so dishes are quick and easy, and better for the landfill. Your chickens are great. I lost some of my Chickens a few years back because a fox actually dug holes in the ground and burrowed underneath the wire fencing and unfortunately killed some of my Chickens, so I had to rebuild it with a floor in it so the fox couldn't come up from underneath. I really liked my Chickens and 🐔 Roosters. Your home and property are really beautiful. It will be fun to see what kind of Critters you have in your back woods. Keep a watch out for any 💦 water moccasins in that watery area where you mowed, hope that drys up so the snake moves out of there. Thanks for sharing the great videos❤

My family growing up have always used a proper dinner set, as a kid (many yrs ago 🤣), my siblings and I had our own plates each one of us (7 kids), each had a different small emblem on one side, when called for Tea/dinner we just went to pick up our own plate and sat at the table to eat. Now the only time anyone in my family (+ extended F), use paper plates, bowls etc is when it is a children’s Birthday party. 😀

I guess I'm just "ol' school" about certain things. As a proud member of the Boomer Gen😊we grew up using ceramic 🥣 bowls for our "Cornflakes", ceramic plates for regular dinners and "China" for Sunday/Holiday Dinners. We only used Styrofoam plates at Picnics, and as of today, there's not a Paper plate in the house. Hey, but whatever YOUR Family does to make Life's little 🍽️ cleanups easy for you ~ go for it❣️

Al & Shiloh your kids are so adorable. I love Libby's curly pigtails. Yes I do paper plates a lot. A funny story, one time when my 31 year old son was at my apartment & I baked a pizza in my oven, I had asked him if he wanted to use "fine china" or real plates, he made the comment "fine china" with a strange look on his face. He told me that the only time they ever used fine china while he was growing up in his adoptive home was during special events & occasions. When I reached into my cupboard to get the plates down, I pulled out 2 paper plates & said YES "fine china". My "fine china" is Chinette paper plates. My son was caught so off guard when i showedhim my "fine china", he had a quirky smile on his face & said YES, I'll take a "fine china" plate please. 😂😂😂 I love your daily vlogs, please keep them coming. 🙂

No, paper plates was for camping, when I was a kid. Now we use regular Corelle plates for everything. We believe it’s better for the environment. Washing dishes then throwing out paper plates. Another cool video.

I was raised with the help of my granny and she was old school. We ate out of dishes and had to set the table every night with silverware and napkins. When I had a home with my own and children and everything that goes on with life paper plates here I come! Now that I’m retired and it’s just me and my husband we eat off of paper plates during the week unless it’s something that’s kind of soupy. Then I have two big snoopy bowls that we eat out of. The good plates are for special occasions. Life is too hard nowadays and I have a lot more to do since I’ve retired or I should say a lot more I want to do since I’ve retired then to wash dishes.
