I love this so much!! Thanks for giving us glimpses into your friendship and showing me how important the creative process is as opposed to the outcome ❤

Wow. I’d always wondered what had happened in your 5 year absence. I knew you both had been busy with your lives, but I never could have imagined that there would be so much tension between you both. Hell, I’d no idea that my favorite band in the world almost ended TWICE! The thought never even crossed my mind. But man, I am so proud of you both! I’m so glad that you’re both in a much better place now, and I’m honored that you shared this with us. It takes so much growth to not only admit your faults, but to actively work on and improve them - especially in tandem with someone. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been, but you’ve both come out so much healthier because of it, and it’s extremely evident in how you both behave *and* how you both write your current songs. I love you both to pieces, and I’m so glad you decided to stay together and make some of the best music I’ve ever heard! 🥹💗

This is the good ending to a somewhat similar situation i was in with a friend. I sadly didn't get to this point and no longer am on talking terms. Your conversation here made me cry. I really really wish i had this with my old friend, but i think we're so beyond that point that we just have to move on with our lives.

Fading was one of my top songs last decade. Definitely my top song in 2016. I had no idea y'all were struggling this much. Makes sense though. I always wonder why you guys hadn't released very much,

So glad to see you guys back. I was sad when I found out you were having trouble making an album when your EP was one of the greatest I'd ever heard. Still get gooesbumps listening to Young.

There is so, SO many things I'd love to say, and its all about how grateful and how in love I am with you as a band, and your music, and the honesty, vulnerability, growth, personality and feelings that are in each one of them, individually and as an album. About You & I, one thing that really struck a heartstring in me is how the instrumental feels sad, feels melancholic and like... with a feeling of lounging, and loss. But at the same time, its so hopeful, the melodies and mid-sections have this joyful/hopeful feeling to it, and it was shocking to understand how both very opposite constrasts of feelings were fitting so well together in the same canvas. You really made an amazing work showing how You & I directly encaptures the very specific point in time where things where hurting, and it was not okay, but there was also a lot of hope, and a will to grow and push through those conflicts seeking resolve and understanding. I really, really love it. It has a huge wonderful message of "things are not right, but now you are strong and ready to face it all". I am so glad you're back and together, thriving as good as you are right now. I really can't wait to let my heart slip into the album once its out. Thank you so much, Vallis Alps 💙

Thank you so much for sharing this vulnerable moment. It is so refreshing to hear about the struggles you went through, and so relatable in my own relationships and friendships.

Regarding the concerts, was that 10,000 person festival ‘Splendour in the Grass’ in 2015? Because I very much remember the ‘pre party’ show at The Northern in Byron Bay that you two played! I was there! You were the second act, in front of what max 30 people!?

Don't change your view on music please,I know it sounds selfish but I'm too comfortable with what music you have been making so far, even tho I'm sure any experiment of you guys would be dope too,but maybe just stick to what you are :)))))) Cheers from a small country called Bangladesh
