It’s cheaper and easier to make the 2v fast then swap in a coyote 😉 if you do the work yourself of course

@@supersayinone I have one at home and I’d love to make 450 for 3k. How do you figure you could do it for that cheap? The only way I see is finding a cheap Paxton or vortech and that kinda rules out the N/A factor here

The coyote sounds better in the pre 05 cars for whatever reason. Sounds closer to the old engines but still not the same. More high pitch.

Have you guys ever done a comparison of same gen mustang engine vs f150 engine? Im talking similar mods, basically just the cams being different. I dont want a guess or expectation. I'm only interested in proven data. The mustang motor is quite a bit more money, the cams are as well. I dont recall you ever mentioning this in a matter of fact way.

I've been researching for about a year. From what I know 12k minimum if you do all the work. 20k is more realistic for a nice swap doing all the work yourself.

It’s cheaper to build the 2v that came in these cars, sure it’s cool to swap in the coyote but the cost isn’t justifiable in my opinion, the 2v just needs cams, bolt ons and a vortech to run 10s, and that’s way cheaper then swapping in the coyote to run low 12s/high 11s with a stock coyote Now sure the coyote will make more power with boost applications but I mean at the end of the day how much money do you want to throw at it?

@@DennisBurger-hc3ieit's really not that expensive to coyote swap I've seen gen 2 mustang engines with under 100k for 4-5k that is alot of bang for the buck. You can make over 450 rwhp easily with a good manifold and headers and it even sheds some weight compared to the iron 2v. You cam boost it and do 800-900 with stock like driveability. Either is a good option.
