Great video! I'd like to see a video on larger options for the entire home.

This one can be expanded with up to 7 X2000 batteries in parallel offering over 16 Kw of power. That could power your house for sure, but I may have some options coming up soon that would fit your bill! Stay Tuned!

I got the x2000 to use with my PA600 instead of the F2000 for that 48v 15A port, you might want to get the expansion battery too!
@GenXPats Жыл бұрын
That is a good idea... 15% more run time would be very nice. I have been running on the sleep mode and have been able to run through the night, but more power is always better! Thanks for watching and the comment.

@@GenXPats So I tested the PA600 with the X2000 expansion battery and it looks like it can run about 12 hours on the X2000 fully charged while charging at 200w via the AC Adapter or Solar Panel. Also, the manual states that if you connect the F2000 with the X2000 it disables the DC output on the X2000 and you would have to use the AC adapter of the PA600 on the F2000 AC inverter, that kinda sucks. It's demonstrated in their video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jGXUe4pvgZZ8m7M
@GenXPats Жыл бұрын
@@hiddentomato If that's the case that really does suck... The comment below the video asks if they can plug the PA600 directly to the X2000 and the response is yes. It is unclear if the response was yes you can plug the PA600 to the X2000 using the DC Output. If connecting the F2000 to the X2000 disables the DC output that would be very discouraging. I will reach out to Eenour about this and let you know their response.
@hiddentomato Жыл бұрын
@@GenXPats Yeah, I was considering getting the F2000 also so I could charge it up faster because the X2000 only allows up to 200w charging and that’s just not quite enough, if it were at least 300w on the input you can run the PA600 on sleep mode fully on solar and still keep charge on the x2000 for night time use. Anything higher than 300w would be really nice as you could charge the x2000 while still running the PA600.
@GenXPats Жыл бұрын
@@hiddentomato I didn't know that either...The F2000 charges at 600W or 1800W. I wonder why they couldn't use the same battery charger as the F2000. I'm sure there is some reason. I have contacted Eenour about the earlier question and I'll get back to you. They usually respond to me within 24 hours.

Hi Wandering... We reached out to Eenour but they didn't know when they would have the F2000 back in stock. Take a look at this Allpowers I just reviewed, it is very similar. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWfYoGNmgLWYiM0si=QZJvGUHLv0BNHR8c Leave me a comment and let me know what you think. If you have any specific questions I will answer to the best of my ability.

solar flares may affect powerbanks and batteries too

Agree... Difficult to find a bullet proof option! When storms come, so does rain and clouds making it more difficult to charge with PV as well.

I’m thinking of buying the Eenour f2000 & or the pecron e2000elf. Could you give me an update on how your f2000 is working & if you would recommend it? Any input would be helpful. It says they give a 5-year warranty. Thank you.
@GenXPats Жыл бұрын
Hi Billy, I like the F2000 a lot. In fact i'm helping a friend sail his boat across the Gulf and I am bringing this as a complete electrical backup for his house bank on his boat. I don't know if it's any better or worse construction wise in the long run, but here are the things I like. Its LiFePO4 (safety for a boat) 1800 watt fast charging, can charge the thing fully in just over an hour. 1000 watt solar charging capacity, so it can charge in 2 hours. Love that it has a 30A and a 24V plug as well. E Multiply Technology works well, it allows you to use up to 3200W constant power (if you’re not using equipment that requires a surge load to get started). If you have any specific questions, I will try to answer what I can.

Thank you, sir. One last question, i just bought one a few moments ago off of amazon & it shows it has 5-year warranty. Is that warranty come with yours also? Trying to make sure it's just not written there & then find out later its less. Thanks, again & love your channel!@@GenXPats

@@KYHill-billy When you purchase you just purchase it through amazon like you regularly would. If you use our link amzn.to/3t5L9LE they know it comes from us. When you use the link select the F2000. We would appreciate if you use the link but it's by no means necessary. The 5 year warranty is listed in our link as well. We appreciate you watching and commenting. Thank you and good luck!

What type of maintenance is required on these? If any? Just curious.
@GenXPats Жыл бұрын
With LiFePO4 batteries they are virtually maintenance free... The battery BMS does most of the work for you it monitors the battery’s condition and provides a protection mode for events like overcharging, overheating, or freezing.

How many hours did the air conditioner run off the solar generator ?
@GenXPats Жыл бұрын
Hey Jerry... The A/C lasted 8 hours with the A/C on Sleep Mode and at a temp of 76 Degrees. On High fan and Lowest Temp setting it lasted 4 hours and 10 Mins. It may have lasted longer if I was in a smaller room so that it could keep the temperature regulated and the compressor could kick off. The room I tested this in really pushed the limit of what the unit could do as I explained in the video testing the PA600.

Great job, but I think I will still keep my gas generator. 😂
@GenXPats Жыл бұрын
I think it's apples and oranges. The reason I chose the solar generator was because the first 2 -3 days after a major storm I found it VERY difficult to get gas or propane. This gives me a few days that I can keep my fridge/freezer and A/C going. I still have my gas generator, now I just have to use it 2-3 hours a day vs 24 hours. My gas/propane can last a week now vs a day.
