I watched the Lawrence Welk show as a boy in the 1960's and loved it, I had a crush on Janet(the youngest one). I'm 70 and still love eaychong Lawrence Welk.

We aficianados endure many derisive comments (when extolling the virtues of the Lawrence Welk Show). BUT...the musicianship was simply superb, they played some of the finest music in the 20th Century repertoire, and these were genuinely likable people. I often wonder if today's rappers will still be touring nationwide to sold-out auditoriums 35 years after their TV appearances ended!

This lovely woman has an incredible voice. I like this version as well as Rosemary Clooney's. Ralna has the finest rendition I know of the hymn, "How Great Thou Art."
