I sit here in a similar position. Every morning I wake up and look around at my kids and wife and think of all the Ukranian s and hope they had as good a night as possible. We really need to see something like this in US. We barely have any coverage on the war right now, and nothing like this. I don't know what's happening at all unless I go online. The TV channel I used to watch that has multiple reporters in Ukraine can't bother to give any reports anymore, and so important to keep up American support, esp after awful leak. I've seen wounds like that Many times. No arterial bleeding that is good. And it looked like it missed the lung. So with his quick evacuation and medical aid he should be on his feet in a few days. And back in action in a few weeks. As long as there was no bone damage. I give these soldiers my highest regards. They watch each other's backs. Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦🔱🕯️🙏

It looked like his key bone is hit. One of my men got wounded similar in 1993, 120mm fell, pieces broke his keybone and one went into his left lung. He survived and lives today, has 4 kids. I pray and hope this guy ends up the same way.

as he "@fromhelltocell" said, when it hits a bone, it either shatters or completely changes direction and can travel a surprisingly long distance in the body, causing more damage. you can go into shock from the raw pain alone and the heart can stop due to blood loss whit dehydration, that's why it's important that fellow soldiers try to speak hopefully and keep awake and adrenaline up. This mess could have been prevented well over a year ago if Biden and the collective west had any balls to begin with! We all saw the Russian buildup at the Belarus border. A few wings of 'lend-lease' A-10 Warthogs could have given the Orcs the message needed once they crossed the border. A 40 km. line of bogged down vehicles makes for 'easy pickins'.
