As much as I respect his wishes and the sheer determination of the team to keep providing us fans with what we loved so much, I cannot but notice the imperfections in the manga. It just feels, low quality, the story boards are boring and the pacing is awful. If this was any other new manga, I would get used the pacing of that particular work but not with berserk. It was a masterpiece that no one other can Miura can continue. And with his unfortunate demise, Berserk has lost its glory forever. The only bright side to the narrative is that we get to see how the story was meant to unfold according to the man himself.

I know the video is meant to be funny, but a part of it is really sad considering this is Guts’ current mentality right now in the manga. Bro got the absolute shit kicked out of him at Elfhelm when Griffith and Zodd showed up, lost his GF, the beast in black is currently mindfucking him, and the promised paradise he pursued for his lover and friends is gone now. So seeing Guts here in the video looking like he’s ready to jump off a bridge is pretty damn sad as a reminder of where Berserk’s story is right now.
