I could listen to this over and over all day. It's the classic story of Twin Flames. You know of each other before you ever knew they were there. The power bringing you together, feeling such a need... You will do anything and everything for them. You share each others heart on a Soul level. They are the only one who can complete you. You lift each other Spiritually. You are the cure to each others disease. When you separate you enter into the darkest night searching for the light. They are always with you even in the dark ; they hold the light. Often it doesn't work out but it all happens for a reason... lifting you higher- my best friend = Fiona!

I have adored Pink for several years. She said at one point that she's always wanted to do an acoustic album; her acoustic studio and live performances are always amazing and a highlight for me. She and Dallas have absolutely nailed it. The first three songs off this album are all incredible. I really hope this is a surprise success for both of them individually and as a duo. Time to show the world that there is more to Ms. Moore than they thought! She is so frustratingly underrated but keeps showing everyone--especially in the US, where she is less popular than in Europe and Australia, which I just don't understand--exactly what she is capable of, year after year. Bravo from your Underdogs!

I came here because I am an avid listener of Dallas Green's work (since Alexisonfire). I love City and Colour and what has become of it. I also loved this song very much, even though I do not listen to Pink per se, but to me she has a special voice. Both are talented in their own styles and they were able to fuse those styles to form this. Now, the reason I love this song so much, is because I met my soulmate in April. We started out as friends and I was at a time where I did not know who I was. She has made me a better person in so many ways. Throughout the beginning all I listened to was City and Colour, and started noticing how this journey with this friend, that became my girlfriend a month later, was resembling the words of so many C&C songs. I know that it can all be explained by the fact that everyone learns how to love and most of the wordings and what not can be considered as generic love song writing. Yet, C&C has put those words in such an order that coincidentally collides with how I have lived my life. Of course, there are some differences as I am a different person from everyone else... As every couple, we had our down falls, but we have always picked up and learned from those. We never stay angry at each other and we always come to understand each other. We have our own flaws, our 'illnesses' or whatever else they might be called or connoted in this day and age. I'm an emotional person and tend to let it out often. Lately we have come to terms with how we go about our downfalls, we always talk issues out and we have crossed a huge rocky mountain in terms of communication when we are in a fragile state. I love her, with all I have and will ever have, with everything I stand for and with all of my broken and damaged heart that she has put back together and always fixes it when it starts cracking. She is my perfect half. I have omitted a lot of details, even though we have only been together for about three months, we both feel we have known each for ages and that we are meant for each other in every way. We compliment each other and create completeness. I don't expect anyone to read this, nor do I expect anyone to understand. I just felt like I had to put some of my running thoughts into words and let them free somewhere... I guess as silly and crude as it is, it is on here. This song has made my day, as it reflects what I feel for my one and only Love.

She loved him with everything in her. He loved her the same way. 😭

I've been listening to Dallas Green since the Alexisonfire days, and I'm far from loving "mainstream" music but everybody is ripping on the collaboration seemingly because Pink is "mainstream." It doesn't mean that this is a bad collaboration because one of the artist is more mainstream than the other. Dallas Green is one of the most talented artists to come out of Canada but if 2:40 doesn't give you chills than you have some issues. Don't deny a great vocalist because you compare her to the other half. btw I preordered the vinyl and I'm super pumped to hear the rest of the album.

I'm so glad I don't believe in signs. Pink is one of my favorite artists, and my ex and I were going to go to one of her concerts together before we broke up. That same ex is also the one who introduced me to City and Colour. And now, those two artists have formed a duo called "You+Me", singing a song of love despite issues. If I believed in signs, that would surely be one. Thank HEAVEN I don't believe in signs.

I pretty much hear you there. I e loved Pink since she was recognized and my last ex showed me City and Colour which I fell for. Was happy to see this collaboration and sent him this track to share

Im glad Dallas is still the one writing their music, i absolutely love his writing style. Pink also does the harmonies perfectly and beautifully with him.

I've been a fan of Dallas Green since back in the early 2000's when he was in Alexisonfire, as the band took me through my high school years. He is one of a few artists who has been progressing year after year. This is amazing! I was waiting for a new City and Colour album, but this is on another level. I never really listened to Pink, but I am a new fan.

this is why you don't share artists like Dallas green with mainstream pop culture. they really aren't prepared for someone like him.

lAbrat 512 ::: You never know I guess! Some people have a problem admitting the truth of who their best friend might be. Another thing is. Hasn’t it been said. You should ALWAYS marry your best friend? Yes! I am and have been accused of being a brat. And I own that. But, I am not a spoiled one. Are you?

I thought who has a taste like Dallas Green/City and Colour can overcome hating on people and rather focus on music. These two amazing singers poured their heart into this song for you so why do you bother caring about who's behind the voice?

I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with who's a better singer? I think the point is that this song is great. PERIOD. Who gives a shit who's a "better singer." That's not what they were aiming to do. They're friends who made some music together.

I add my personal opinion. I've never been a huge P!nk fan, but as a girl...well, I honestly found her sexually attractive. So?... She's a great singer. I love Dallas Green. And I do not understand why people have to trash everything. They sound amazing. I personally love this kind of experiment, but if you cannot stand your heroes to do something different, do not listen. Their previous (and future works) will be always there for you. It's like most part of the people are not into music for the pleasure of listening, but for some underlying psychological issue. Fans should be grateful, when their favorite artists are brave enough to try a new path. When I read all of these polemics under everything...I can figure it out, why mainstream got so bad.

Beautiful song... It's funny. I'm single but I feel like someone somewhere out there "sent" this to me. Like I was just guide to it. I see all the moon's in this video and it just feels so personal since I always love sitting outside under the moon and staring up at it.

Pink can sing practically any genre and anyone who think that pink can ousting him, obviously hasn't seen Dallas perform live in concert. He's has one heck of a powerful voice! He can be three feet away from a microphone and you can still hear him just as clear and powerful. He's truly amazing. Pink is amazing too. I love them both to pieces. If you ever get a chance to see Dallas Green (City and Colour) you better go see him. You will be left astounded and amazed.

This song encompasses a love that only exists in maybe 3% to 5% of the population, sadly. Where each is 100% dedicated to the other. All the time, no breaks. Old terms like loyalty, dedication, patience, long-suffering and putting the other person ahead of self, always. Love without these characteristics is like the moon without the sun
@thatsharkeyguy10 жыл бұрын
Cannot believe the amount of hate coming from Dallas fans on here. That's honestly the last thing I expected. You'd really begrudge an artist making music with a friend who happens to be more commercially successful. Seriously, grow up. Only good can come from this if you're a Dallas fan. FYI City & Colour are WAY PAST their time of being an underground cult thing you can claim to own. If you truly consider yourself a music fan with integrity, you would take this at face value and not impose your stupid preconceptions of Pink as an artist or the motive behind this (and I am FAR from being a fan of Pink). Both singers have great voices in their own and decided to make some real nice music together. If you're going to criticize at least make it related to the music (personally I would of given them separate verses). Now go put on Alexisonfire's 1st album and have a little sulk.

Well said, I completely agree. I'm shocked by some of the reactions here. I love it, but I also wish they'd had separate verses; hoping the rest of the album has some tracks where Dallas doesn't seem to be "backup" but wow they harmonize beautifully. I'm still getting used to the heavy steel guitar as well, but I'm glad his playing was prominent in this one at least. Can't wait for this album.
