My Dad passed away when I was 13. Shortly after I got really sick and was in the hospital. My Mom and I sang this song together. The song remained our song over the years, and is such a bright spot. My husband chose this song for our wedding. We were together 10 years, had 2 babies and a 9 month separation in the 10 years before we got married. I never understood at the time why he wanted this song so bad. He passed away on March 27th 2023 very unexpectedly. Massive heart attack at 40 leaving behind me, 19 and 18 year old high school seniors, an 8 year old and a 6 year old. We married in 2013 but we'd been together over 20 years. As I was going through photos for his slide show, I noticed how he looked at me in nearly every picture. He'd smile and look towards the camera when he knew his photo was being taken. If he didn't realize it, he was looking at me like I was the only girl in the world. We loved each other so much. Knowing how much that man loved me is what gets me through for our kids. When you meet the person out there that loves you that much, don't ever take it for granted ❤

This is my moms and stepdads song when they got married, he was the dad I never had and he treated me like blood even though we were not related at all. August 25th and I just heard this on the radio last week. Have been listening to a million 90s bands since. Somehow I got stuck on Lifehouse and found a few really good other new songs but the best new one is with Natasha Bedingfield. I can't think of the name because I just now heard this song but look up Lifehouse with Natasha Beddingfield and you'll find it. A year or two old. It's not just the song but the video. The video is so beautiful with running white horses. wish I could see Lifehouse in concert but I can't find any dates. I am so nostalgic for the 90's because music now sucks!

He wasn't the boy I loved sincerely. I had to stop myself loving him. It was so hard. Really hard. In third year of middle school I loved a online friend. He was just like my old love. He was the third person I loved. I knew he liked me too. But I thought he will never be happy with someone like me. I thought I wasn't enough for him even if I am the right one. And I made him gave up on me. I blocked him. So he couldn't contact me and he will forget me. But I did never forget it. It has been two years and it still hurts. All I feel is a incomplete feeling. I missed him so much. I will never love someone like him anymore. I dont think I will be able to fall in love with anyone anymore. But please you have to keep moving forward. Even if it means you have to hold your screams and sobs in it. It is okay to cry. It is okay to have a breakdown. I already gave up. I don't want to love and feel this pain again. Not anymore... Sorry I wrote too much. I felt like it I guess. So sorry if I bothered you or anyone who read this :)
