For some reason when I play yak-3 that 20mil cannon does literally no damage but 50cals set planes on fire every single time they hit so for me (and my luck) this is a huge difference if the plane has 2 or only 1 50cal

Whether or not it has wep is arbitrary. The power to weight on the yak is fantastic and the engine power is better than tbe yak-9s engine which does have wep.
