You have to visit Serbian landscapes which Serbia has a lot.Serbia isn't only the cities. The true soul of the Serbian people is reflected in its people in the villages. The rural population is what Serbia is shaped by. We have beautiful breathtaking landscapes. You have to visit Tara, if possible you can also go rafting on Tara, although it is great anyway. The air, nature, naturalness of the people. I would also recommend the Uvac canyon, which in my opinion is a stunning locality like from a fairy tale. Also beautiful is Fruska gora near Novi Sad where you have a lot of marked trails and navigation quite deep in the forest. I know, I was. :-) Thank you for promoting my country in a beautiful light. I hope you will visit at least 1 recommended site. Best regards.:-)

We have small but important Arab community, mostly former University of Belgrade students from Midl East and Africa. Israel, Iraq, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt... former very important friends and trade partners of Serbia and former Yugoslavia. Serbian construction comapnies does most of important buildings in today Midle East and Africa. U will be suprised of some of them. Today, we are only friends. Interesting conclusion, I remember going to Subotica and having some of the best food and products quality overall I ever had in Europe. But also its super obvious coz Serbia has some of the highest quality products in Europe, we all know that EU has the crappiest product quality. No wonder, why Emirates and Soudi Arabia, only buys their products from the balkans and completely ignores the EU. If I was to think really what was the worst food I ever had + products quality I had in Europe. it would be definitely Czechia. Czech's lel the official champions of having the unhealthiest food in the world actually. Anyway, really strange that you found Subotica sleepy? Are you sure you didn't go to Subotica on same Serbian slava or any of those days, coz Serbs do love staying in home when they have slava's and they do their family gatherings.

The town and Lake Palić are certainly much more beautiful in summer than in winter. There are a lot more people, they walk around, the atmosphere is better. As for English a lot of people know it well enough for basic communication. Older people, over 50, generally don't know it at all. The epidemic ruined the nightlife. A bunch of quality cafes that used to work until the early morning hours, are not working at the moment. Too bad for you, you missed a great time!

From Belgrade to Pancevo you have a bus that goes every 15 to 30 minutes and it costs about 2 dolars in one direction, you will be riding about 30 minutes. You can take the bus on main bus station in Belgrade but its cheaper to take a bus by the Pancevacki bridge that is a brigde on a Danube very close to Dorcol area where your apartment is. You will maybe walk only 15 to 20 minutes to come to bridge and a bus station to Pancevo. Station is in Bulevar Despota Stefana streat. If you decide to visit Vrsac, you can find the bus that goes to Vrsac on the same place where you are waiting the bus for Pancevo just the tickets are more expencive and another bus company goes to Vrsac.
