I added a little salt to keto and my blood pressure went UP to low end of hypertension within a few days. Cut that salt in half by weight with potassium chloride and then my blood pressure came down. That extra sodium did indeed make me functionally potassium deficient. Don't believe everything you hear no matter who says it. Test yourself and monitor, don't guess.

Do you know how to properly check your blood pressure at home? Take 3 readings, at approximately 1 minute apart. Eliminate the highest reading and average the next two. Add the two top numbers together (systolic) then add the two bottom numbers together (diastolic) then divide the top numbers and bottom numbers × 2 that's your average blood pressure.

I've read that Himalayan pink salt has many minerals but they're so low quantity that it really doesn't make a difference... Also the sea salt I'm using I checked it has iodine which is good but it also has dextrose which can spike insulin. What salt would you recommend then that has significant minerals versus the typical table salt with iodine? Is Redmond salt really worth it? I'm a subscriber your videos are great help😊
