Thanks for letting people know about O’Keeffes Working Hands!!!!! It’s my mother-in-law’s company that she started and developed herself to help her dad who was a rancher in Southern Oregon and always had cracked hands/fingers.

16:04 my dad was a snowmobile mechanic during winter and his hands used to crack and bleed…. Then he found Silicone Hands from Avon… sounds crazy but only thing that worked and he didn’t hate using either. He wasn’t a fan of lotion and the way it feels 😸

The 3m paper is awesome and worth every penny. I have some on my sander and today when I went to do some sanding I pulled it back see what grit it was and the numbers were worn off but the paper was still good. I’ll be using a sharpie going forward. That paper not only last, it cuts extremely well cutting your sanding time down.

I am a wood turner and I recently switched to 3m Cubitron 3 inch sand paper, it is by far the best sand paper I have used. Sanding a bowl used to take 4-5 sheets of the generic brand I used and now it is 1 sheet of 3m. Now I just need the 3 in rotex sander.

Thank you for this video, it's awesome! Those plungers are a staple in the screen printing industry because they're used to dispense screen washing fluid. There's also another product similar to Okeeffe's out there called Bag Balm that works incredibly well. It's most notably used to lubricate cows' udders because they crack, and get injured from being milked. I used to use it when I was training to become a brick mason because mud will suck all the moisture from your hands.

Not that it matters what I say but times I want to read others comments on products. Benchmade knife mini (OZZY) Osborne knife is bad ass. Use them for hunting. Durable and stay sharp. Okeefs I use cause I work with chemicals primarily phosphate remover and shit drugs your hands like soaking them in Lyme. Okeef’s is literally the only thing that works get rid of the razor blade cuts from cracking. Stuffs amazing. I know my hands are starting to dry out I rock the okeefes. Good shit. He’s completely right on electric branding iron. I bought a super cool old school branding iron you gotta heat and there’s no way of knowing if it’s too hot or not. It sucks. Get an electric. Save your self the headaches of sanding out mistakes, or trying to figure out how many presses before you can brand a clean one. Just get an electric and save your self the time and headaches

Great episode. But, I will caution people about using and storing Acetone. It should ONLY be stored in a sealed container. Acetone vapors are heavy and will spread along the floor. The slightest spark will ignite the vapor which burns with an almost invisible dull blue flame. You feel the extreme heat before you see the fire. So, I would be cautious about using Acetone in a plunger can. I know many welding shops use acetone that way but it is very dangerous.

Great ideas. The tape dispensers sound like a good idea but they leave a serrated edge which can be problematic for double sided tape. You didn't mention that the Pica Dry pencil leads come in a variety of colors. I bought it with a pack of white leads which I use exclusively on dark woods.
