Thanks for spreading the word. I'm baffled more people don't use it. I've spent a lot of time with most of the major titles and think RF2 is an incredible sim. I know it's tricky to set up but one or two KZbin videos and I was able to get it working well and I'm not very computer savy. I can easily forgive it that because it does the important stuff so well........the driving experience.

I think, unfortunately, people are easily swayed by the "politics" side of things. Rather than finding out themselves. I forgive it loads because of how good it is.

I've done a few LFM rFactor 2 races so far, I really should do more, it's just a fantastic sim, and in my opinion has the best physics and tire models. If I had one complaint with LFM it would be the dependencies on mods. I've had a few mod install related issues which have prevented me doing some races. A series or 2 with just base or official DLC would help I think.

RF2 BTCC LFM was by far the best racing I've experienced on any sim title. Racing in the rain was incredible! All the rooms went dead after Max Verstappens public rant about rfactor during the 24hr virtual Le mans and for some reason all the big name youtubers also stopped playing it all at once. Its such a shame it really is. Jumping back into Iracing felt like i was playing an arcade. Fingers crossed these RF2 LFM rooms can start populating again.

Just bought rFactor 2 on sale from Steam, plus a load of DLC. Despite Verstappen encouraging all to uninstall, I see so many positive comments that I just needed to check it out for myself. It's only been a couple of days but I think I may very well enjoy this sim. I have the LFM licence for ACC but I don't think I need to obtain another one for rFactor 2.

Please don't say you don't like the Cayman Cup and give it another chance. Truly one of the best racing series I have ever participated in! I haven't been a rookie for a long time but still race it regularly. The Porsche Cayman GT4 is a fantastic car that handles brilliantly in rF2 - a very big THANKS to the developers!

But maybe it was also due to your steering wheel settings at that point, which is why I also asked you if you wouldn't like to give the Cayman another chance. The only question you should ask yourself now is, how do you want to motivate others to try something if you say from the start that it sucks?

Perhaps the problem for many newbies like my self, you just do not want to make a fool of your self with bad driving and not spoil the race for the more experienced drivers.

If you don't crash people, especially intentionally, then there is no problem. If the race starts fast drivers starts in front and probably go away, so you can't even see them most of the race.

I'm using lfm ATM trying to gain my licence for acc, but need to get a 1.48.8 at hungry my best ATM is a 1.49.4

Yeah it's massive for ACC. Which, in my opinion, is an inferior sim in many ways (though still great). I'm baffled why people don't use it for rFactor 2.

Nope, the licence system is only on the ACC side of things. If you have an LFM account and rFactor 2 you're ready to go so long as you have the content installed :)

And its not working anymore .. GRRRRR Going online in rf2 it self sucks.. the ranking is BAD.. someone crash into YOU and YOU get penalty points..(no points) there are to mutch NOOBS racing in there..
