Here's a bbq hack...If your bbq grill is leaking smoke from the side, just line the rim of the whole grill with foil. Once the lid is over the grill, the foil will fill in the gaps.

I just saw one of these in my local Weber store today. Love the hinge and the ring but it just felt so cheap! When the lid raises on the hinge it wobbles and shakes and feels like really thin metal has been used. Indeed the whole unit did not feel rock solid like my other Weber kit. I am replacing my Weber kettle this year and I thought this might be the one but now I’m rethinking. For the premium price, this does not feel like it is built to last

I love croc cheeks, and I don't know where you got them, but somebody sent you a heap-o-good-lovin!!! I like to sprinkle them with a mix of S&P + garlic powder, grill them lightly to medium (with croc it's "when white, it's right"), let them rest covered for 8 minutes, then hit them with a mango or pineapple salsa. I serve that with rice and a green salad. Your videos are so impressive, entertaining, and educational. Your food is so lekker. Thank you for inspiring so many of us to grill!!!

Loved that you’re having a good time and showing a grill fail, keepin’ it real!. I Don’t think I’ll get another grill, but I’d love the ring and deflector. Webber should better offer it as an accessory or we’ll get it from someone else... or make it ourselves... haha! who am I kidding? We only have so much time in between beers.

@@mikekristin7201 Yeah, maybe as dangerous as taking a 30 min. walk in a major polluted city or smoking 3 cigarettes. And actually, bbq & grill is quite carcinogen. And bacon. And meat, actually. And alcohol. And ...
@mikekristin7201
@mikekristin7201 5 жыл бұрын
@@wimpow I have a science background. I mean no disrespect but I am telling you you are way off. The amount of chemicals used in the process of making those barrels is very high. They are not designed to heat or be eaten with. It would be like loading a vape pen full of solvents and going right into the lungs and blood stream. I'm a huge grill guy and love a good DIY but using non foot grade materials is a bad idea. Fun fact, you can use a beer keg as they are made of stainless steel and have no coatings or volatile compounds.

Smoke leaks usually come from dropping the lid or banging it around in the back of the truck taking it to the in-laws that don’t have a grill. You can actually re-true it with you bare hands. Take a good look at it and you will see where it is out of round. Use the push and pull method on the inside of the lid. It it very easy to bend back in shape.

I've had a Weber grill before. What I don't like about them is that there is a lack of grill height adjustment and don't get me started on that round shaped grill. My current grill has four rectangular cast iron grates so I can use as many or little as I need. It also has four height adjustments and a seperate warming rack.

The new Weber Master grill falls way short when they added the hinged lid. I have the Weber rotisserie insert for my 22 1/2? By the looks of the lid when open, it gets in the way when moving the meat on the grill. I also upgraded by betting the charcoal baskets and heat defuser for smoking.

Nice video But my experience as Surinamese BBQ guy that frequently did croc / kaaiman meat. you need to bbq that meat hot and fast (direct heat). But not to long because its still a "fishy meat". the best for bbq is the Tail(tip) for the marinade: Ketjap (2:1 Salty : Sweet) Grounded black pepper (fine) Ketumbar Sugar Salt Piment balls (grounded) Bayleafs (a few leafs, grounded also an option) Marinade for at least 4 hours Result: Water Kip / Water Chicken!!!! Heaven Try it again & Good luck!!
