Heat is not the primary cause of burn-in

Power-consumption per pixel along with the heat generated can and will degrade each OLED pixel over time, and will degrade them more quickly at higher luminosities with correspondingly higher heat output per pixel.

Burn-in issues have really lessened over time as newer generation panels have come out, and Pixio has some great features to reduce the risk even more. Burn-in will probably still happen, but at a much slower rate, so I’m expecting to get a long life out of this monitor

Invest in some testing equipment if you are going to review monitors, especially if you are doing ads disguised as revieww. You need all credibility you can get. I would love to review monitors and assembly get lent or given products to do so. I won’t because I am not willing to invest in what it takes to do that. I also would not want to do fluff reviews.

@@IllGalaxy dude this is an OLED . Withouth proper Anti-Aging / refresh technology and creme of the crop hardware its not worth it. If you are going to spending over $700 go with a reputable brand that will cover burn-in that includes S-Tier technology as far as prevention. Asus is #1 at the moment. Alot of people do not know that without the proper prevention technology within 5 years it will be E-Waste.

1440p will always be around especially at this size, and is perfectly crisp unless your sitting 6” from a monitor. Plus the price discrepancy between 4K IPS and 1440P IPS makes 4K a very tough sell for most gamers
