just watch more basketball and practice more and more, your dribbling will improve. I couldn't dribble with my offhand, but I learnt how to do it in a few solo practice sessions because of practice. I suggest to watch more basketball if you wanna know when to set screens and went to drive etc because personally I watch basketball matches nearly everyday and it's something I excel at.

Ryan, Do you ever think of coming here to Albania to train because Albanian basketball is very tired and no one has ever come to train effectively. Here in Albania, training is done but it is not of good quality. My weaknesses: ·Right hand passing (or just passing the ball in general, some passes im not accurate with) ·My ball handling is fast but I am one dimensional sense I am left handed and use it A LOT and hardly use my right hand, and my handle may be fast, but no control ·Defense, now it really depends on who I am guarding but still...I find myself getting beat by people and they get to the middle easily when im guarding and my teammates say its not that hard to guard some of these players (im in JUCO btw) ·Court Awareness - this is mostly for defense like i need to be more aware of whose cutting and where the person im guarding is going while im opposite of the ball because im suppose to be deep to help out ·Posture...I feel like I am uncoordinated I look weird when i dribble the ball like you all can watch footage of me playing last year to see...or look on my channel

Do you think it’s good if I purposefully try to implement the thing that Devin Booker does where he brings the ball up on the left side? I know it limits my scoring options but it feels like I get way better arc and my elbow is more easily tucked in when I do it, and it doesn’t feel that overly uncomfortable when I pull up or step back to my right. I feel the only thing it really makes me feel uncomfortable in is a post fade/turn around, but I rarely shoot those shots in games anyways, like once every 10-15 games Edit: Also kinda like KD and Dlo

@bensonyabu
@bensonyabu 5 жыл бұрын
I’m short too I’m 5’5 or 5’6. As a short player you need to be able to facilitate the floor for other players. You need to be quicker than everyone on the court and hit the weight room. You need to be very aggressive and be a lights out shooter. You need to have the highest IQ on the court. Being small isn’t the worst thing either don’t let yourself down on it. You will have to work harder than everyone else who is an average size guard for basketball. I find that on the court a lot of big guys can’t guard me because of my shooting ability and how fast and shifty I am. You probably haven’t gone through puberty yet though if your 4’11 you might be a late bloomer unless your dad is around your height. I’m working on dunking at my height now. Put your mind to it and work your ass of and it’ll pay off don’t let anyone stop you.
