This is one of my all time favorite FPS series. Currently playing Exodus and it's so darn fun. Been quite awhile since I played 2033 and Last Light.

I’m thinking about buying this today, it’s on sale for 2.99 on Xbox and I’ve only played metro exodus. The graphics hold up on the redux surprisingly decent, I was afraid it would look horrible is why I haven’t played it yet. Today might be the day I play it finally

Play 2033 and Last Light, they precede Exodus. And they're both awesome.

Slight correction, but he was sentenced to 8 years in absentia but is currently living in Europe. I doubt he will ever return to Russia. Definite bullshit though. Russia branded him a 'foreign agent.'

METRO LADY LIGHT is one of my top 5 favorite games i really love it.

So far, i've played 2033 and Light, Light was DEFINITELY better, everything. While i remember pockets of 2033, i keep accidentally thinking moments in light were in 2033, simply because it was just so damn memorable... Plus, while it also did the choice ending again, i personally like them, simply because i get a more personal ending, while understanding the canon one :D

just tried exodus last light redux(i was not hoping for much from a 10 year old game). But the 1st sec i got straight into the game and the shooting(sniper)was just so much better then most new games the last few years i tried. So why havent i tried this before u might ask??? Answer is i havent had much info about this n after last years Metro exodus that was a game that beat most other games i just didnt think about the older games in same series... Would i recomend M.L.Light? Yes n Yes ad No if u suffer from bad nervs stay away Ha,ha, no its just a good game old or not i think... It was mayby a little to dark when i played it(but its possible to make it less pitch black,but i just didnt wont to stop playing to do so,so next time i guess when its time for My friends in Russia again... Thanks 4 video of 1 great game(or should i mayby say series of game instead?)

That’s good to hear. I’ve played exodus but not the redux ones. Last light redux looks like it holds up pretty decently as far as visuals. I was afraid it was gonna look way more dated

I remember playing Last Light when it first came out and for whatever reason I didn't finish it...but it's always been stuck in my head somewhere...so when I saw your retrospectives on the first 2 games it's like seeing an old friend...i immediately bought both games on the PS store for less than 5 British pounds no less...The stories within the story plus the lore is class! I played exodus when it came out and thought they'd done a decent job but it was like there was something missing but I can't remember what...Sam's Story was the best part of it and riding around in those boats just exploring...someone said the Author is in Jail on putins orders...his body may be locked up but they can't incarcerate his mind. Great reviews...subbed ✋🏼

Question!!! Is there a good amount of battleless exploration and chill time between fights that aren't just in populated pockets? What I liked about exidus is there were moments to look around and have down time and an equal amount of fights

There are moments of exploration but they are a lot smaller than in Exodus. This due to the game using the claustrophobic metro itself a lot more. They generally tend to have a creepy vibe as well and often times led to very short combat encounters just to endcap a moment.

yes there are. actualyl i was just playing last light and was thinking how well they reward you for getting through shitty parts. you come to these awesomely detailed little "towns" in this f'd up world. the world building in these games is phenomenal

@@soldatheero I just played through both and was extremely satisfied with the exploration and tense encounter ratio, I'm playing both for the second time cause I regretted not taking my time to find the notes and safes, same for exodus with the post cards

Great vid! You deserve more subs and just gained 1! I agree with everything but the dual ending thing. I personally love that stuff. Keep up the good work, ill be wating for the next vid.
