According to American Dictionary of the English Language Noah Webster 1828, the King James Bible has the word hell in it 54 times, 32 in Old and 22 in the New Testaments. NKJB has 19 in OT and 13 in NT. Modern bibles do not have the word hell in the Old Testament, around 12 times in the NT, but none in Acts, 2:27, 31, and zero in Revelation. There is no statement saying death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. Their disobedient act of adding to or taking from God's word which is forbidden by God in Revelation 22:18-19, has inspired some to say that there is Annialism, meaning the soul ceases to exist, hell is not eternal. They give hope to the wicked.

I like the thoughts you two are having surrounding the Virgins. After chewing on this for years, the understanding I found while seeking God about it is this: The oil is the Holy Spirit. They are all virgins - they all believe in God and are waiting for a messiah to come. But the wise believe in Jesus Christ; they believe that He is the messiah ... and they've received the Holy Spirit. The five unwise are those, like many Jews, who don't believe the messiah has come yet & have not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord. Their relationship with the Holy Spirit is a lot more like how the Holy Spirit was experienced in the OT - sometimes the Holy Spirit would come upon people (like David) for a time and then leave. So when they cry out, "Lord! I did this in your name! and this in your name!" - because, truly, Jews can be quite faithful when it comes doing certain things for God. But He'll say, "I never knew you" ... because they have no personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It's not the end of their story. There is purpose in the Tribulation and I believe Romans talks about how after this happens, the scales on their eyes will fall off and they'll see the truth. Had to share! So much love in my heart for John and Lisa!!

Many are trying to get to heaven on their own strength by their own heart Jesus said, You must be born again. John 3:3-8. "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of Spirit is spirit." Verses 3:5-6. Born again is regeneration. Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary online. 'Regeneration means; Reproduction, the act of producing anew. In theology, New birth by the grace of God, that change by which the will and natural enmity of man to God and his law are subdued, and a principle of supreme love to God and his law, or holy affections, are implanted in the heart.' Implanted. Humbling isn't it. We cannot do that. So who does God look to? the humble and contrite ones. Psalm 34:18 and Isaiah 57:15. Ask God to send the Holy Spirit to you, Luke 11:13. He will bring your sins to mind. As he does ask Jesus to forgive you. This will be painful, PRIDE HATES IT. When you see your desperate need (Jeremish 17:9) for a Saviour, call out to Jesus to save you. He came to save sinners. Then do as the risen Jesus commanded, be baptized. Matthew 28:18-20, in the water of repentance Mark 1:1-5, Matthew 3:6. Calling on the name of the Lord, Romans 10:9-13. How? As Peter preached Acts 2:21, 38 and as Paul did, Acts 22:16, Acts 19:1-5. Think on Mark 16:16, 2 Peter 3:9, Romans 6:3-11, 1 Corinthians 12:13 and Colossians 2:6-15. When He has regenerated you, you will desire Him. Read His inspired word, the Authorized Version, the King James Bible. The Spirit of truth will lead you into all truth. His word strengthens, washes (as does His powerful blood). His word reads you Hebrews 4:12. Daily bible reading and prayer is essential in building on the foundation which is Christ Jesus. PS. The other apostles were already baptized, they baptized others. John 4:1-2. Read His preserved word, the Authorized Version later called the King James Bible. His word will build you up, Acts 20:32. He will reveal Himself to you. Ephesians 1:17 It reads you. Hebrews 4:12.

Make it a habit to make this phrase a habit, “I must be about my father’s business”. When you feel to sin, say the phrase as if you’re saying it to God himself. For me, when I do that, my sinful desire disappears. Also when you’re walking or cooking or doing anything, speak to God in your mind. It’ll keep your mind on God. I also like listening to the song, “The king is coming” by the Gaithers. That song touches me so deeply because our king is coming soon. One day at a time we must press towards righteousness. Before you know it, we will be in the Heavenly Canaan. I also found that evangelizing to people by sharing my testimony helps me stay righteous since when I tell it to people, it’s a reminder to self of the goodness of God. I recently had that issue. The Lord would give me a word and it would really bless me and as you said, by the end of the day I would practically forget that word. And the Lord helped me to see that I had become the seed sown among the thorns in Mark 4. That I had allowed the cares of this life, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things to enter in and choke the word and become unfruitful. I would pray and ask the Lord why that is happening and how to correct it. 🙏🏽 that’s what I did and He helped me to see what the issue was and how to change it.

With 45,000 views I'm not sure how I've never seen or even heard of this channel before but I just wanted to add one little tidbit. After the ketubah (wedding contract)is accepted by the bride she will drink the wine in acceptance. From that point forward when the groom leaves he goes back to his father's house and builds a home for his future wife. It is then the father of the groom who approves when the building is finished and who sends his son to get his bride. I've been debilitated in fear about jesus coming back / judgement and the reality of expectation to live a productive and contributive life. One side of me behaves like, if this experience on earth is temporary, who cares about doing anything productive. But my heart really desires a big family. I love you guys love your work love your books. Love your courage to teach on eschatology. But please please be very clear about the difference between the rapture and the second coming of Jesus. A lot of confusion comes when ministries do not stay consistent on their teachings, especially on this subject. It takes courage to use the word rapture. I know that my pastor calls it the great snatching away, but whatever the case please be clear so people will not be confused. There’s at least seven years difference between the two events and again I’m very very proud of you guys for having courage to teach it to begin with so God bless you and your family.

The second coming every eye will see him and he’s coming down from earth with the armies of heaven to destroy those who have destroyed the earth. People will be able to calculate this date because it’s actually halfway through the seven year tribulation when the temple is desecrated by the antichrist, that is the halfway point after that Jesus will be returning yet the rapture no man knows the day or the hour people will be eating and drinking and buying and selling and giving and marriage so basically just a regular day at the last coming when Jesus comes it’s not gonna be a regular day. The world is going to be an utter turmoil. There’s gonna be huge destruction everywhere. Just read the book of revelation of what’s to come, and you will see that there are two different events.

Yes, it says we won’t know the day nor the hour, but we will know the season because the fall feast have not been fulfilled. So, we do you know it will be during the high holy days of the fall feast. Now if anybody knows about the fall feast... The Feast of Trumpets, also known as Yom Teruah or Rosh Hashanah, is a Jewish feast for which the exact day and hour of its start is unknown because it is determined by the sighting of the new moon, which can be difficult to pinpoint due to atmospheric conditions and human error, meaning the start of the Hebrew month, and therefore the feast, can vary slightly each year depending on when the moon becomes visible.

I chanced upon this podcast and have only been listening for several weeks but have shared many of John & Lisa’s oonversations with my husband, kids, siblings, my dad. I’ve already learned so much! I love how John would sometimes be carried away with such passion, and then Lisa would come in to help flesh out what he’s saying for the listener. I love your teachings, they are a great blessing to me. I agree with you about not knowing about the day or the hour of our Savior's coming, however I can't shake the feeling that we will have a warning of some kind. I always had this feeling since I was a child, even though I was always taught that we won't know. This was reaffirmed when mother passed. She wasn't well so my sister took her to her house. She went to sleep in the guest room and my sister was watching some tv in her room until later in the evening. She had her door open the whole time and on the other side of the wall was the living room with the couch against that wall. She never heard anything, but her husband came home and found our mother just sitting on the couch. He turned on the light and went to check why she was just sitting there and found out she passed. We are sure she knew she was going to pass, didn't want to bother my sister, but wanted to be close to her. She slept there many times and never did this.

■ It is our duty as Christians to properly understand God and His Word, to constantly have our understanding conformed to what He has said throughout ALL of Scripture. ● Amos 3:7 NKJV - Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. Therefore let's address a very significant statement Jesus made. The statement of Jesus in Mark 13:31-32: "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But of [ that day ] and [ hour ]. What "day" and "hour" is Jesus referring to? The answer is in the above statement. When "heaven and earth will pass away". How can we be sure of this? At the completion an object such as a person, animal, or flower is revealed. But the term is also a metaphor used to illustrate an ability to associate one idea with another, to see “the BIG PICTURE”. Biblically connecting the dots goes way beyond drawing a line from the numbers, 1 to 20. It requires discernment, understanding and wisdom. To understand means to grasp the nature, significance, or explanation of the subject matter. The really big and most important picture is understanding the purpose of life. The English word "examples" is the Greek word "tupos." Tupos can also be translated as a pattern, a model, a template, a prototype. In other words, what happened to ancient Israel as recorded in the Scriptures happened and was recorded as examples, as patterns for future generations. Thus they serve as templates to give instructions, warnings, insight, and revelation of future events to come. The underpinnings of such things derive from God's sovereignty and omniscience. He who knows every event and every moment of human history, past, present, and future, is able to weave into those events, moments, and history, patterns, templates, and paradigms. In conclusion, Christians ought to be people who painstakingly study God's Word, because in doing so God opens their eyes and grants them wisdom and revelation. Scripture confirms this in Daniel 2:20, 21b, 22; Psalm 25:14 and Romans 16:25-27 Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. He [ reveals deep and secret things; ] He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him. The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. Now to Him who is able to establish you according to [ the gospel ] and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the [ revelation of the mystery kept secret ] since the world began but now made manifest, and by the [ prophetic Scriptures ] made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith- to God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. The start well and finish badly for one primary reason. They do not submit to his will, and strive to enter into his rest that they might cease from their own works. If we believe we actually can keep our own fire burning, we may find out that we are not in Him. It is only striving to enter his rest = trusting in him, abiding in him, etc, etc, that we can remain on fire. Without Him we can do nothing.

He said the five unwise virgins came to Jesus and accepted Him but they didn’t do enough to be ready….that doesn’t make sense. Salvation is not based on works but having a close and intimate relationship with Jesus and believing that He died on the cross, rose again on the third day and that He is the Son of God. I recently had that issue. The Lord would give me a word and it would really bless me and by the end of the day I would practically forget that word. And the Lord helped me to see that I had become the seed sown among the thorns in Mark 4. That I had allowed the cares of this life, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things to enter in and choke the word and become unfruitful. I would pray and ask the Lord why that is happening and how to correct it. 🙏🏽 that’s what I did and He helped me to see what the issue was and how to change it.

Except the next event is not the 2nd Coming, it’s us going up to meet Jesus in the clouds also known as the Rapture. He’s not coming back to earth again until after the Tribulation. But Word of Faith pastors don’t generally believe that.

Tough read for me, seems pretyped to someone else, but I do like to see all the research that you did on this so I am going to read it again tonight. A quick look at "we" in revelations I didnt see myself in there and after asking Him He said thats a fire I already went through for a purification, so for now gonna stand with child like faith on being called home before the tribulation unless I see otherwise after prayer praise and worship tonight. Appreciate the reference verses in there because His word is official - I only wonder if there is a potential He comes and collects sheep and then the coming in the clouds is a separate time maybe,, I need to find the verses where the people where doing live as normal and one was gone and "the other was left" I feel this is a very crucial part to add into the tribulation talk

@ trust me doll if there were a “rapture” I’d be signed up for it but, HE told us what would happen & look what happens to Gods people they suffer here but, Bible says the joy we’re gonna feel is unimaginable so may HIS will be done. And I know it’s like getting sucker punched in the gut when ur raised that way bc I only started doing 8-16hrs in the Bible when covid started (didn’t have anything else to do for 6 months 😂) I was raised rapture, ya didn’t need to keep the commandments etc. I was shocked to my core that I had been lied to by a person behind the pool pit. Needless to say…. I repented right then, got re baptized, started keeping the commandments and began to take everything quite seriously bc 50yrs I “thought” I was saved and I wasn’t. I would be burning in hell had anything happened to me. But, Glory to God I was Born Again 4yrs ago & I knew bc 3 months after I started keeping the commandments I received the Holy Spirit & I have total peace. Wasn’t a peaceful feeling when I read HE called me a liar for not keeping the Commandments, SCARED ME TO DEATH. That’s why I’m so passionate about getting the TRUTH out. Shalom🌹 1 was taken isn’t what u have been explained, it will be 1 taken and 1 left to work, the 1 taken is delivered up.

@@amypope9098 Are you referring to the 613 laws of the Old Testament or the rules for the gentiles that was decided at the council of Jerusalem with James presiding or something else?
