I've used two sfx cases with riser cables, only problem I had was with the meshlicious 3.0 riser. all I had to do was unplug the gpu, and connect to motherboard graphics and change bios PCI-E from gen 4 to 3 and it works fine.... The Silverstone sfx cases have gen 4 riser boards Im not sure why people are so scared of riser cables

The things is the air is not heated that much by cpu, the cpu is like what, under 100 watt when gaming, the air comes out of the radiator is only somewhat hotter then fresh air, warm for sure, but not hot, but the 3080ti is like 350w+, I have a evga 3080ti ftw3 and it's insanely hot, and it's gonna rise your cpu temperature significantly if your radiator takes in what comes out of the 3080ti

it looks good, i love the industrial look. it does remind me of an apartment building, though, which is kinda cool if you do like a post-apocalyptic theme to it. it looks simple enough to build it, and having a PSU pre-installed from the factory is a major plus, especially since SFX PSUs aren't super common like ATX PSUs. I think they went well above and beyond for making an easy to build in small form factor PC for new people in the market.

What I like is no riser cable required, almost all SFF cases require a riser cable, and this one does not. That's a huge plus as they fail, not to mention the problem's with pcie 4.0 board/gpu and a pcie 3.0 cable.

I have the radiator fans set to exhaust (the fans are inside the case). Since I live in the tropics, ambient temperature ranges from 28C to 33C. CPU (I7 13700KF) temperatures ranges from 65C to 80C while gaming and GPU (RTX 3080) ranges from 55C to 65C. I can’t run Cinebench in this setup because the CPU will shoot as high as 100C. But since I’m using it as a gaming rig rather than video rendering, 100 degrees is technically impossible to hit during daily usage. Because of the lack of auxiliary cooling options. I’m considering attaching a USB powered 90mm or 120mm fan externally using a magnetic strip. This should push cooler air and feed the AIO radiator fans inside.

with all of your connections (usb, hdmi, dvi, etc) connecting to the mobo in the "basement" of the case, are there any space concerns for how thick a connecting plug is? Seems like a great case indeed, the only thing is you need to make take care that no air gets trapped in the pump, turn it on and move the case around a bit so the air if it has not already gets moved out of the pump and end up in the radiator, and you're good to go. And that it fits a big GPU and still seems to do nice is pretty nice. And indeed a great LAN-party build with that handle, not that anyone really ever does those things anymore, do they ? But nice for business, or yeah, just playing with a buddy.

Moving any possible air out of the pump would be as simple as running for 10mins on its side with the radiator at the top

Did you make a fan curve for the gpu?? I'll bet 80% fan speed on it would cool it down

Hey Kyle, what aio did you use. I plane to make a build with this case and I would like to know what aio size you used.

Any issue with the CPU cooler pump being above the in/out ports of rad?

If you do a follow up, or another build, maybe try a ryzen build with the stock cooler to see how the temps are.

A few months back I was bored and decided to draw a itx case design mainly layout of components and it was pretty much identical to the layout of this case. The only difference I had with mine was an exhaust fan at the top of the case

I would like to see the temps if you set the radiator fans as exhaust, because it looks like the GPU will blow hot air out from the side of the case and it's not in the way of the AIO radiator. Why have 5 intake fans and no exhaust? You have 3x from the GPU, 1x from the PSU and 2x from the AIO = 5 intake fans and zero exhaust fans... why? Just a thought.

What about air cooling that case? Any tests available? :)
