I hear you on boundaries. I got disowned by my Dad for lying. I was so hurt. He wrote me a letter disowning me. I called everyone in my family to call him and tell him to take me back. To my knowledge I never lied to him again.

People are afraid to set boundaries because if the person that sets the boundaries and the person that doesn’t want to respect will falsely accuse the person who sat boundaries. That is why some people are afraid to speak up and stand up for themselves. This is the most honest reason why people don’t set boundaries
