Hi. Just a normal question- how is this different from Butter chicken because i saw a recipe and it was just the same.

It’s actually similar due to the use of the onion tango masala but a few things change, one is the chicken is smoked in butter chicken, the use of fresh cream and also the use of kasuri methi.

Actually most authentic murgh makhani doesnt use Onions. Just tomatoes, ginger, garlic. But people debate that too. Onions are used to cut cost and add bulk to the gravy. Also in Changezi Yellow Mirch Powder is used which is used in a lot of Old Delhi recipes
