I’ve got the herrod package on my raptor, 4A, sports mode, baja exhaust mode in manual from first gear is the best setting I’ve found. 5.02s 0-100 spinning all 4 off the line

@@RossReviewsau no worries mate, it took a while to work it out. Averaged 5.9 flat stock with them settings, average with the tune is 5.2 so far, not as easy to get it perfect now with the wheel spin, definitely capable of high 4.8s on the track.

If you have good credit and save your money for a few years you can put a good down payment and get good financing for the rest. I’m an electrician and just bought one by saving a little out of each check and collecting bits of scrap copper. Also it pays to shop around. Saved 5k just by shopping around.

The 1O speed auto changes quick and under full throttle it just keeps it up high in the rev range. It looks like it would just keep pulling through all the gears. You only got to 4th, imagine going through all of them. It would be insane. At 5.2 seconds O-1OOkmh, this Raptor is dusting so many other performance cars from a dig or a roll race.💯

A Kia Stinger does 5.O-5.2 just as an example of "performance car" I dont want to argue. Have a nice day.👍👍

How were they able to Crack the ECU coding? If this ECU has the same encryption as the Ford/Amarok next Gen V6 diesel - it’s supposedly next to impossible from the feedback I’ve received.🤦‍♂️

Ford allowed Herrod Performance full access to the ECU (Herrod's does all of Ford Perfomance racing in Australia) - and I think BPT motorsports works closely with Herrods and is able to do the same package as Herrods over here in WA. From what I'm told, only BPT motorsport in WA and Herrod's in Victoria has full access to the ECU globally at the moment. But I'm sure Hennessey in the US will get the same access now that the Ranger Raptor has released over there

I'm confused here. Ford listed the stock numbers of 0-60 in 5.8 and you have 200nm more and 75kw more and you're barely improved (in some modes you're doing worse) something tells me they don't quite have it cracked like you think they do. You should be turning stability control off as well i would bet

What I have noticed though is with the straight rangers, apparently both the diesels and the v6 wild track must be the fastest cars on the road. That is why there is no need for them to worry about undertaking at +30km/hr on the lanes to the right, or tailgating you so close they could be checking you for melanoma.

At the end of the day it's still ONLY a mid-sized 🛻💨 I bought a 2022 Tacoma TRD off-road 6-speed manual, basic 📦 $41k out the🚪with 120K 7 year warranty + gap! These ranger raptors & Tacoma trail hunters are going to be almost double that price OTD for a set-up similar to what I got with warranty n' shit 🤷🖕🏻 them prices...
