I live in Hawaii, born & raised, and just this weekend i was on that same coastal drive and was on awe of how beautiful the water is. It doesnt get old for even a local like myself. One thing all tourist should know is the weather is different each day. If u catch a really clear day, and it didnt rain hard in the last two days, then the ocean views are turquoise, clear and beautiful, it has a lot to do w/ clouds and rainfall. Sometimes one day, its overcast or hazy, but next day its completely clear. Hawaii is expensive, but i rather live here and breathe clean fresh air and not have to buy winter coats.

I am so glad you both love HI like me- you caught the Aloha Spirit. I have spent hundreds of nights on islands. Maui is by far my favorite, even though I lived in Waikiki for almost a year. My Favorite cousin Mike has just under an acre just above Lonia Poku Beach Park just a mile from Lahaina. Luck has it Cuz Michael is one of HI's best concierges. Lucky for me!!! HI is really like no other place on earth. It cost a lot but it's just the price for a chance to catch that Aloha Spirit.

FYI....Aloha Spirit is Not something you catch, like a cold/viral disease. The Aloha Spirit is a Mindset, an Attitude! You 'Receive" the Aloha Spirit by interacting w/local people, absorbing, thru eyes, ears, mouth & brain...the culture, history, ambience of..."The loveliest fleet of islands that lies anchored in any ocean."--Mark Twain

@@harrymiram6621 Maybe the word is not the same that you might use, but the sentiment is the same - Language can be tricky. I have only spent several hundred nights on Island but was lucky enough to also "Catch" the Aloha Spirit. Aloha HarryM!!!!

There’s a big ethical debate about outsiders moving to Hawaii. I love visiting there but try to make the most ethical decisions when doing so. I wouldn’t consider moving there, as outsiders are causing the costs of living to increase, leading to pricing out the locals. It’s so crowded and parking can be an issue. As is true of moving anywhere in the world, we should assess the implications of such a move on the local people, environment, and economy.

You're gonna HAVE TO go back and do a North Shore Oahu vlog; TOTALLY missed out not absorbing it up there! Pipeline and Sunset Beaches and Teds Bakery!🤙🏾❤️ Maui's overrated (as far as tourism.) Kauai and Big Island are as WONDERFUL as Oahu. You'd have TONS of exploration vlogs, especially first time visit exploration, on visiting all 4 islands of Hawaiian Kingdom. I only call it that as it still is that despite its "statehood"- Hawaiian Kingdom. 🤙🏾❤️

Hawaii can be expensive to live but with some planning and just knowing cost figures it is very doable and actually rewarding especially if wanting to raise children. My husband and I love it. It’s definitely a different lifestyle. But if you respect the culture, heritage and it’s ppl. You will do just fine. I hope you enjoyed every moment on this gorgeous island. This video was so absolutely super awesome I loved all the spots and was nearly drooling at the donut scene! Haha ! HAWAII 🌺 is definitely magical and each island a character and charm all it’s own. You can live anywhere your heart guides you and can always make things work! I was just visiting Honolulu a few weeks ago for about 9 nights and didn’t realize I would be so over the top in love with it there… I had been way back in the 80’s and it was ok but, now I’m just in love love love so much that I will retire there. I’m playing HAWAIIAN music in my car everyday to keep me in the Aloha Spirit. My favorite island use to be Maui as I have visited many times because I would Surf 🏄🏻‍♀️ 🤙 there on/off last visit was 2018 in August for my birthday to go Surf and I landed in the middle of a Category 5 Hurricane Lane.. that was fun no surfing though but exciting to say the least. Hawaii is a very Sacred & Spiritual place and so Blessed to finally be making the move back there and so glad I waited… you really had the most beautiful enthusiasm during the video and I am grateful you are sharing your joy. If Hawaii was relatively affordable, Their would be hoards of people. We have a saying in Hawaii, " The price to live in paradise". You learn to live simple, the older you get the less you accumulate. I know lots of friends and family who moved from here because it is expensive and almost all of them moved back. People on the mainland of the USA have money issues too, why? When it's so much more cheaper their, homes, food, entertainment ECT. I luv it here!

My ex-husband lived there for 5 years in the US Air Force and loved it, learned a lot of native language etc... one thing not a lot of people will tell you is that native people hate having white people move to any islands. He said there are places white people should not even attempt to go to native only areas. A friend of mine lived there 3 years and it was CRAZY expensive had to have 3 roommates.

I go Oahu every year, my brother married a Hawaiian girl, so it gives my wife an excuse to go and visit. This year, we couldn't go though‼️ But yes, it is EXPENSIVE. YOU CAN GO BROKE IN A HEARTBEAT. I SPENT AROUND 4K ONE WEEK ONLY NOT INCLUDING TRAVEL AND STAY, THAT WAS ALL SIGHTSEEING AND EATING OUT ALL DAY EVERYDAY. You didn't touch on the homelessness there as it is a problem. I feel like travelers visit, fall in love, stay there and then go broke because of how expensive it is. Just eating out is money hogger. Compared to Japan, how much more or less expensive is it? That's what I wanted to ask. That's a destination I really want to visit‼️❤️

Nice one....Since your Dominican Republic travels I've only seen a handful of your videos as I'm not really an Asian fan, but Hawaii, I've done plenty of research in the past as it was on my list of places to live. But the D.R is now number one on my list, but I'll watch you on your Hawaii journey. SpeaK soon
