No, not at all. Interpretation is in the eye of the beholder. Although a lot of the Squad community members do say that this game induces PTSD, so I can see why it could be interpreted that way 😄

Old Mil-Sim veterans and people who put actual dedication and effort into games like Squad end up sweating and getting stressed out in their seat while playing. I myself been through some real epic shit in Squad, only realizing how epic it was after the war started in Ukraine and I saw all those combat videos, being so close to how my experience in Squad is. Games have/Squad has gotten soo much more realistic into these past few years that I couldn't believe it myself. And yes, to top it all off, I do sometimes wake up very late in the night with the memory of me and my squad driving in a MRAP and out of the sudden a RPG pops up to our left side and everyone screams "RPG LEFT, RPGT LEFT" and we get hit. Extremely loud bang and image flash from being injured, my whole squad get's taken out and I was all alone against a small team of insurgents that I somehow managed to kill and get out alive and regroup with my buddies. Ngl Squad is can sometimes be the real shit.
