Damn this game is smart. Love how it uses the player's natural reactions to mess with them. By giving us a knife, and no other instructions, it builds on the systems of play that have become second nature. Not once does it tell us 'kill these people', or 'hunt them down', it's too subtle for that. But it knows that, given a knife and a stabbing animation, we'll use it. We need more games like this.

I actually think the guy you play as is a fucking psychopath; he already killed his wife - the corpse in the basement, who is also the ghost that always appears near him when he kills somebody - and, even though the title of the game is calm time, he actually never calms down, indeed he is being judged and looked upon by the ghost of his wife - or whoever the ghost was - which brings him to invite people over to kill them afterwards. Killing is his calm time. I found this game very interesting as well. Also, I live in a small cottage isolated from the town...

However, a lot of kids get hurt and killed in real life, in wars and in poverty and in underdeveloped countries. So I've got something to say about that. Recently my opinion of Pewdiepie has been going down. The way I see it, he has been spending so much of his time focusing on what is popular that I've been hardly able to stand it. But this video not only reminded me of pre-popularity Pewdiepie, who was charming and silly, it showed that same I-only-care-about-the-bros Pewdsness that I personally miss. A lot. Basically what I'm trying to say is: people change. I get that. People SHOULD change. But THIS is the Pewdiepie we want now, not the one that seems to be trying so hard all the time. There's a new game called Alice Mare which recently came out which is kinda like that but Pewds has pretty much played nearly all of the best rpg maker games that are already released. In reality there are a LOT of terrible rpg maker games out there and only a few of them are actually any good. A good one only comes around every few months. :]
