The most accurate definition would probably be "the thing that generated this thought" since _something_ inarguably generated the thought. In my case I take antidepressants that increase my serotonin levels; serotonin being one of the 3 main "happy" chemicals in the brain. I'm not a neuropsychologist though, so I dont know what happens in the brain when we fear something. Also I haven't watched this video in 2 days so I could very well be wrong, but hey science is about trying to figure out answers.

Colton Austin actually, I used to take antidepressants. And in my case they didn't really work at all. I kept feeling anguish and completely unsatisfied with my existence until the point I've just accepted I don't even exist at all. I don't take antidepressants anymore and I'm completely more happy than back to when I did. Depression is most of a personal thing because there are different types of depression and different ways to cope with it. So in this case, it just depends in what kind of depression you have
