I've seen him live multiple times and talked to him. He was incredibly funny, really brilliant at involving the audience and making each show different even with the same base ideas, and was also a genuinely humble and nice guy. He's in charge of a topical comedy show and due to that, the comedians on the couch make most of the jokes and his job is to keep things on track, follow an autocue, and provide information, with occasional jokes. He manages to keep this interesting due to his presentation style, and I fully agree, I really don't think it's any signal of whether he's funny or not.

There are two different issues here- should the money have been returned, and was any criminal behavior committed. I agree with her on the money front. HOWEVER putting on skimpy costumes doesn't magically erase one's bodily autonomy. If any girl told the men not to touch her at any time, any subsequent touching is assault, whether she was in a burka or naked. Making them sign NDAs after doning skimpy costume practically states outright that the event organizers expected their guests to commit criminal or borderline behavior. It was the girls' choice to be waitresses for the event. We can't assume every one of them chose to be groped.

Angelica Licari I always put it this way, groping women is ALWAYS wrong. Just like breaking into someone's house, yet when you leave the house, you lock the door, you take measures so it doesn't happen. Girls/women SHOULD be able to walk around naked without being groped, but that's just not the environment we live in.

Julie Levinge but people did die. A couple of random people who found the discarded “perfume” and used it. The Russian agents were identified. Russia attempted ANOTHER assassination on foreign soil, (Litvinienko had been assassinated a few years previously). The actual poison was manufactured in Russia! Scandalous story!!

There's plenty of information out there. while you're at it you could look up the polonium poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko (another former FSB officer who defected to the west). For information on how Russia is run like a mafia organisation by Putin look up William Browder (and his excellent book Red Notice) and the torture and murder of Sergei Magnitsky resulting in the Magnitsky Act being passed in many countries around the world.

Have you not learned yet that a big part of modern, liberal 'comedy' is not writing or creating anything funny, accurate or relatable, it's the art of reading an active comments section of their flailing online presence, reading it live on air and lambasting the author of the comment. Real brave, real original, real funny.It's obviously been adopted by those 4 or 5 America shows that may has well be one show. Real brave, real original, real funny.It's been practiced by great comedians such as Sadiq Khan and Obama in recent times, both met with a huge amount of laughter (especially when Obama tried it. Brilliant!).Call it what you will. Sanitized satire, homogenised humour, propaganda, but don't call it comedy. it's cowardly, unoriginal and about as funny as tragedy, if not a little less so.
