I just love you Lewis, spending time with you whenever I get the chance. I am just finishing my fourth week with (maybe bronchitis) it's been in my upper respiratory and a lot of no voice. My son came over at the onset and I tried to answer him and I didn't have any sound at all, thought about knocking with my cane, but he went away. So, I took an old cow bell up to my bed( I'm in a fifth wheel). I ranted at a receptionist at the clinic it's 23 miles away and the week I got sick, 3 of my family's vehicles all broke down. I live off the grid and I'm 69 will be 70 at the end of March. Whatever this illness is, it robs me of getting my breath, so I am limited on how many tasks I'm able to accomplish. It's so great to listen to you❤❤❤❤

I'm so sorry you experienced this & totally understand. TwitterX is a cesspool anymore, why I got off it years ago. Same stuff here in Ohio - "It's a virus going 'round" & (I"m not a Dr but got a degree in Chemistry conc on virus on the molecular/genetic level) so you just gotta suffer thru most viral infections. Glad you're back up in your excellent irascible manner. Stay safe & keep healthy. Still wishing I could go to your Detroit show but it's just not working out for me. Boy Howdy, Lewis! I had this thru January 24, it hit me hard the day after my birthday in Aug 23, thought I was gonna die. Sinus infection all the way up to my forehead. 2 of the best things that helped me was holding my nose after taking a deep breath often to open my estacian tubes and Pina Plus Bromelain daily. It damaged my sinus, throat, and lungs terribly. Then in January, when I was feeling like I was recovering quite well, BOOM ..... another hit with another virus that lasted another week. Just terrible! All COVID and Strep Throat tests were negative. Many people blamed the 2 COVID vaccines I got. Don't know, recovering now. Stay healthy dear.

It seemed like everyone had something……a bad cold that turned out to be Covid….a flu….a bad cough and sore throat (myself). My doctor prescribed an antibiotic and it knocked it out. REALLY contagious. Ironically, the only place I’d been the five days before I got sick was a doctors office. 🙄😏

In most advanced countries/societies, tipping is not customary and is frowned upon. Only in some USA states, where the minimum wage is still $7.25 per hour, might this make sense.
