I’d like to find a builder who develops structures worthy of living in. Many builders often use cheap, toxic, already moldy materials in the new construction I’ve toured. Workmanship is shoddy. Windows improperly installed. Saw too much that was pathetic and unethical.

I think a lot are just uneducated and don't think anything of it because they or someone they know hasn't had any issues with mold. The best companies and advocates are people that have been through this horror first hand. Others are just robots doing the same thing with the same materials.

@PilgrimHymns I just have a question or two. I know my house has mold issues with a high ERMI score. This house belonged to my parents who are deceased and I'm too ill to do too much here, but my daughter took all my mom/dad's stuff upstairs and put it in one room to be gone through later. The room and the things in it will not be able to be dusted/cleaned as it is basically now a storage area up there. There is a separate HVAC system up there that isn't connected to the one downstairs. So can I just kinda ignore the junk and the cleaning up there. I don't think there are any active mold issues up there....just perhaps mycotoxins. I need to get this whole house free of mycotoxins and get the ERMI score down. Can I just focus on the downstairs and ignore the upstairs? This is a large house, and I'm too ill to deal with all of it, but I have no other place to go since I'm extremely MCS and most likely MCAS also. Thanks for your answers! (And out of curiosity, what is the best way to get rid of the mycotoxins. I think all the leaks have been fixed, etc)

So what is there to do when you KNOW what's happening, you move out, your adult daughter wouldn't & still won't listen to anything you have to say even eith evidence of severely toxic mold present, so she cross-contaminated, she's getting worse to the point where she has ZERO empathy, no emotional response besides rage, her vision temporarily goes away in one eye but comes back, her 2 yr old son (my grandbaby) is suffering not only neurologically but also emotionally due to having a mother who cannot show any empathy, she's pretty much washed me out of their lives bc I'm worried to death about them & she thinks I've just gone crazy & trying to convince her that she's sick for no reason, her brother & sister won't listen to me & she took the memory foam mattress with her to the new apt & she's refusing to listen to any information about the danger she's in & my grandson who's been exposed since birth who's having daily ear pain & headaches & he has been severely lactose intolerant for a long time now & still suffering due to cross contamination. So I'm watching my family fall apart but she's in such denial & being so resilient that she won't even take mt 2 yr old grandson to the doctor! What does one do at this point? She's in complete denial but its a matter of life & death because now she's having symptoms of psychopathy or schizophrenia & I don't feel my grandson is safe but she's unaware of what's happening. We are talking the sweetest young woman I'd ever laid my eyes on. But today she is this person I do not know. At all. She is delusional & lies horribly & she has the family fooled, but the empathy, which is an essential, no CRUCIAL part of life especially in parenthood, is non-existant. I can't make her do anything. She's an adult. What do I do? Also what are your thoughts on dimethyl sulfoxide? (DMSO) It's obvious she's suffering brain trauma due to prolonged exposure to toxic mold. I have samples that my roommate took of the apartment in petri dishes & there's an array of different molds in them & we don't have the money to send them to the lab. I know the hvac system is infested & the air ducts, the drain pipe from the central air unit was clogged over a year ago causing water damage throughout the lovingroom, bathroom sink, kitchen sink, it's everywhere. I need guidance & to know what I can do to save my daughter's life & her two babies. It's crucial & cannot wait any longer.
