Thanks for explaining what eloquence means. I think myself and many others will learn from that. I'd like to share my perspective too. I believe @thisiskindacrap13 asked two important things. Eloquence seems like the answer to why the videos brought comfort - that's part of it or maybe all of it. But I think there's more to why these videos initially made them feel better. I might not be totally right, but I believe there's something special about why those videos helped at first. It's good for @thisiskindacrap13 to reflect on why, beyond just the speaker's great way of talking. It's like there's a unique reason behind it, and understanding that might guide them to find that same comfort outside of these videos. That's what makes these kinds of connections and comfort special to me.

Hello I am Sheila from down in Texas and I’m commenting on my grandsons account on the you’re not driving that truck about the horse. Well, I wanna share an experience with you about a colt that was given away at the fair with purchase of a ticket of a $5000 value 6 month old colt, this man that won the colt let his young nephews ride the colt up until the colt was 2 years old for the fun of bucking till they were thrown off. Nobody could ride that stick of dynamite, so the man gave him to my husband who could definitely ride. My husband was determined to prove that he could calm down that stick of dynamite. He finally got him to come to an easy trot, but after knowing for 8 to 9 years he would takeoff in a gallop but that horse would take off and buck like a stick of dynamite every once in a while. You could never take it out of him. Just thought I would share this experience. Thank you. Enjoy your show and I enjoyed the part about not needing your wife. You wanted your wife that meant a lot to me I cried on that one. Thank you and I will continue watching, be blessed

I dont have a horse, but I do have a dogs. its unfortunate how owners treat their dog. Complete lack of actual communication. I have two dogs, but one of them is "my" dog. She is something like 14 OR 17 years old, I always forget. She is deaf, pretty blind and she became a bit slow... Because of other health related reasons, the doc gave her 5 months, if we are lucky. The world around her is probably pretty dark, and not much of her former self remains. When we go out for a walk, she still understands what i expect her to do. She has no trouble keeping up or staying on the path (most of the time anyways). its remarkable how well she adapted, even tough she lost most of her sensory abilities in a relatively short timeframe. I am glad that, for me at least, she is still in there somewhere.

Hello from South Texas I’ve only been on a horse once, 1 hour ride on South Padre Island , the horse they gave me kept unhooking himself from the pole , I found out he was an older horse , he new the ropes on the whole renting ,riding thing . He was very intelligent. We went on the ride and quickly found out he didn’t like me tapping to hard on his side for him to go faster when I wanted to. I learned so much in that 1 hour with Another one of Gods creation it humbled me so much. It was an an awesome experience. Thank you for your wisdom and time Sir. I've ridden Western and English, all kinds of breeds, jumping over fences, across rivers and long trails. I ain't the prettiest rider but I listen to their equine language. I love and honor the animal. I know by the way you talk, you know and honor horses. Our beast of burden. They take care of us so we take good care of them. Thank you for this natural lesson. Many do not know the difference between complex and complicated, which leads to all kinds of issues out there. I like your analogy of trucks vs horses. A truck is very complicated, with many moving parts and requires a high skill set. But when you remove one of those mechanical parts, the truck no longer runs anymore. You also cannot turn that truck into a bicycle with that missing mechanical part. Complexity is capable of understanding, adapting, and changing to its environment. I think of this concept like a forest. Too much water vs too little water won’t kill off the forest. It is alive, like a horse or human being, capable of growing in skill and adapting to various things. But complexity requires a different approach than complicated things.

As a retired school teacher of 37 years, I can relate to your suggestions and endorse them. An interesting side note on the hand signals for trailer hitching and the way they become more and more subtle: I had the opportunity to travel to India some years ago, and riding in a car there in a city is an altogether different experience than here in the states. At first, you get the impression that there are no rules on the road except one - “the bigger vehicle has the right-of-way.” Period. To a visitor like me it all looked like chaos. Then after a while I noted that drivers there use very small, subtle hand signals and eye contact to cooperate and navigate through incredibly choked intersections where an untrained driver from elsewhere like myself would become frustrated, panicky, and angry. I began to appreciate the way drivers in New Delhi -which makes driving in any North American city look like a cake walk - managed to make it work with their patience and subtle communication - when faced with situations that would completely unnerve guys like me - a trI-axle coming down a one-lane, one-way street directly toward me. Three elephants being ridden down a major highway. A huge farm tractor pulling a wagon through an intersection where five roads converge. You get the idea…which leads me to another of your suggestions DeWayne, that I want to endorse: if you ever have the opportunity to travel and experience a different culture, it’s the best education. I don’t mean go to some resort and never leave the grounds, I mean to get out among the people that live there and see how they do things. It might feel a little uncomfortable at first, but from my experiences, I’ve always met and learned interesting things that way. Thanks for your videos and keep up the good work.
